Fellow Pumpers,

It is widely advocated that you go into the tube as hard as possible to get the best workout and to minimize fluid buildup. I try to do so, at least manage a 3/4 erection. But I do lose my “normal” erection soon into the session, though I remain extended and full via the vaccum effect. Porn helps with the hard on going it but the erection is not sustainable at my age through whole time I’m in the tube. I’ve got a couple of questions.

!) Do those pumpers who are able to keep their “normal” erection throughout their session find that it makes a difference compared to those occasions where they “lose” their erection during a session?

2) Viagra/Cialis/Levitra I know have been cited as the secret weapons of PE. Have any of you experimented with taking doses before pumping and if so, does it result in a better workout in terms of keeping a good erection through all your pump sessions?

Here are my responses to your questions:

Ans. I don’t feel like I’ve maximized my time spent in the pump, unless I can keep a good erection in the cylinder, especially if I’m trying to work on length gains. It isn’t as important to me, if I’m just concerned about girth gains. But more times than not, I try to maintain a max erection size in the tube. If you have a good pump and seal going on and you’re initially erect, I can’t see how you would “lose” much of your erection under the influence of the vacuum.

Ans. I am my own guinea pig, and I’ve experimented with small 1/4 doses of generic viagra and a tablet of cialis. Both worked extremely well for keeping my hardest erection going in the tube without much effort. Throw in some porn watching, and you can probably hammer nails with your dick.

Would you say there is a difference in effectiveness of a session which ends in one of the following two ways:

You end the session and have been at full engorgement in the tube, you get out and you’re still quite hard.

You end the session and have been at full engorgement in the tuve, you get out and you deflate to a flaccid state (still a pumped flaccid state though).

I always strive for “You end the session and have been at full engorgement in the tube, you get out and you’re still quite hard.” It’s the better of the two options. To further the longevity of these good effects, I also do my below the glans wrapping with the ace-self adhesive bandage which definitely assists in maintaining an ADS to my pumped dick (while also preventing the doughnut effect in that area).

I typically come out with a full, maybe 1/4 hard flaccid, never with a full erection. Maybe I should look into getting some aids to keep me rigid throughout.

tally, try massaging yourself to erection right after coming out of the tube. Then you can re-enter the tube for a second pump cycle and repeat. This is a fun time to get an erection as you are totally maxed out and that alone might be enough stimulation.

I do fluff myself back up before going back into the tube. Sometimes I can get good wood; sometimes it’s half-mast. Generally, as I get further along in my sets, the wood is not as good as it was at the start. I attribute this to the expansion of the tissue exceeding the ability of my sex drive to feed it.

That’s why I’m interested in the aids. If I can supply the “internal drive” to fully fill the expansion as it grow during the workout, I think the overall workout will improve. I do squeezes and jelqs between sets and that certainly helps with the internal pressure to equal or aid the external expansion, but once the wood dies down some of the effect is lost — at least I perceive to be lost relative what would exist if good wood could be maintained at a constant through the whole workout.

Just a suggestion to see if you could get by without the pills. Those things are damn expensive, but maybe you have insurance to cover it? Anyway, if I can stay healthy enough with diet and exercise, that is the way I am going to go, so for now, I am keeping my fingers crossed. I am 52 and 3 years ago I was just about impotent, but then PE came to light and I am a new man.

I hear you, gprent. I have to check the old HMO plan but I suspect it may be an out-of-pocket expense.

Anyway, I may not have to go to the aids. I experimented seriously with cycling last night for the first time, taking the pressure up to the top of my range for 20-30 seconds, then dropping it down to near zero, then back up and so forth.

I not only packed the tube more quickly than normal but found that I stayed hard through the cycle and was left with better than typical post-workout results. Hurray!

My theory was that the increased pressure brought blood in, then dropping it down allowed that blood to escape quickly, then pumping back up brought a fresh supply back in and helped me keep a constant erection throughout rather than have the erection “leak away” as typically happened while pumping under constant pressure.

I hoping my result was not just due to the novelty of the new technique, but something of a lasting nature to help me improve PE pumping routine.

My own experience is leading me to conclude that it is important not just to go into the tube with a full erection but to MAINTAIN that erection during the entire time in the tube in order to get the best possible workout. Cycling did that for my last night and hopefully will continue to do so in future sessions.
