How much time off after vasectomy

How much time off after vasectomy

A year ago I asked this question about PE in general but I’m going in less than 10 days and now mainly a pumper. I’ve read responses from years ago. I wanted to post the question again assuming more guys have done it since. So how long after getting a vasectomy did you wait to pump again? Also as a side question as someone in recovery from substance abuse did you absolutely need pain meds?

Maybe your doctor would be better off answering both those questions.

Your absolutely right however have you talked to your dr about PE? Most won’t even admit it works.

They don’t have to believe it but they should know what you’re doing. You don’t think they have heard just about everything? Your penis is too important to fool around with.

Btw I’ve already been told by the my dr that I don’t need pain meds but I’d like to hear others experience.

If you had an issue before than stay away from the narcotics.

Now if he says you won’t need them then maybe you won’t. Taking 800mgs ibuprofen every 6 hours gives very good analgesic effects.

I plan on staying away from them just want to make sure im not biting off more than i can chew. You cant ibuprohine for about a week after surgery. Otherwise I’d be totaly fine. Its all I take now for pain. Btw I had spinal surgery and fusion thats how I got hooked or part of how.

No need to explain what got you where. Just let the doc know that you had an issue with certain things and he will give you something that won’t mess with you.

To a degree, it depends what type of vasectomy you are having. A ‘no scalpel’ vasectomy usually gives the quickest recovery, and is becoming a popular option.

Usually if pain meds are needed at all, it will only be for the first 24-48 hours.

There is absolutely no benefit to be gained by taking any risks by starting pumping too soon after the operation. If you must do PE, do some gentle stretches, but wait until you are sure everything is 100% healed, then leave it a while longer, before even thinking about returning to pumping, and then start very carefully for short periods at low levels of vacuum. If you get any discomfort, stop and wait a while longer. People heal at different rates, and while you may feel confident to have intercourse a week after a minimally invasive vasectomy, you will still be a few weeks off being safe to pump.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

Thanks Firegoat, I’m thinking a full month of no pumping. I hate to loose my gains but I’d really hate to loose my cock even more.

I had mine over 10 years ago. Not a single complication. Ice pack on the first day. That was it. I started to lightly work out again the next morning. No pain pills. Had sex within 48 hours of “surgery” (it’s a non event). I wasn’t pumping at the time, but can’t imagine it’s more strenuous than having sex with a very energetic woman.

But everybody’s different. Listen to your body and your doctor.

Thanks for the respons Smooth. 48 hours after no shit?! Awesome that was another concern of mine you hear different things some say a week some two weeks. Your right it’s not exactly a surgery it’s a needle. After having my spine fused not to many procedures sound like surgery.

My 2 Cents

Wow, you’ve got serious balls going back to the gym and sex within two days.

But to OP, I think the dates say you got it done already, so just in my opinion, don’t rush it. I laid off all stretching for about a month after the surgery and had no problems.

I wasn’t pumping at the time, but given the scrotum skin that is taking a lot of the suction while pumping is very close to the incision, I would be careful of pulling it back open. (Regardless how small and harmless that cut looks, it was still on my balls).

And stretching involves pulling directly on the tube that was clipped, so yeah I was super conservative and waited the entire week before sex, and even masturbated before then just to make sure I wasn’t going to full on hurt myself during. (That first one was crazy and worth waiting if you’re otherwise as frequent as I am)

In any case, follow-up with any experiences if you push the envelope, these things scare more people than they necessarily have to.

Get addicted to sex. It staves off pqin . as someone that’s been obsessive about something its easier to switch one for another
