Just started pumping yesterday, it's not working

I realized my ‘cheap pump’s issue with sealing was actually the issue with the pump’s hose tube. The hose was leaking air the entire time. So I ended up buying a break bleeder that came with it’s own hose tubes and that issue has been resolved. Now creating a seal is effortless. I’ve been doing 5 minutes x 4 of 2-5hg, I start out at 2hg and incrementally pump it to 5hg throughout the session, it seems comfortable.

However I’ve noticed on the break bleeder it doesn’t gauge the negative pressure at all, while the built in air pressure gauge in my ‘cheap pump’ does keep track of it. I wonder why that is?

I’ve been doing the 1 day on 1 day off thing, but I would like to start the 5 on 2 off. Is that too much for a beginner?

If the gauge on your new vac pump does not work, take it back for a replacement.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

I have a built in gauge on my current ‘cheap’ tube, which I don’t have massive issue with it currently. I will eventually upgrade when my finances improve. I don’t care much about the gauge built into the break bleeder pump, but I found it odd. I won’t be returning it cause it works well irrespective of that.

Could you answer my question regarding 5 days on 2 off and whether or not that’s an appropriate protocol for a ‘beginner’?

Try it and see how your dick responds. If you have poor PIs then reduce the days on, if your dick responds well continue with that schedule. Dont worry if you have to skip a day occasionally, life happens.

lately i notice some darkish purplish bruise-like mark on the tip as soon as i finish a session. it goes away after a few minutes. what is this and is it concerning?

the dark purplish bruise-like mark seems to be always in the place of the tip that presses up against the tube throughout the session. Is this any cause for concern besides a temporary cosmetic issue? Or this could lead to worse things?

I’ve bought a cheap manual pump from Ali Express. It is not holding pressure for example when I am pumping to 8 Hg the needle slowly drops to zero Hg automatically if I don’t pump more. However it is creating vacuum on thigh perfectly when I am pumping pressure on thigh and disconnecting hose, the vacuum pressure holds. However when the hose is attached with the cylinder, the pressure needle on the gauge drops to zero automatically. I am using silicone sleeve with it. It maybe that the seal isn’t tight or the pump is faulty. Without silicone sleeve the cylinder isn’t creating vacuum pressure when I am putting in my Johnson. I have shaved my pubes but the cylinder isn’t creating vacuum without silicone sleeve. I have also turkey neck.

I am new to pumping with one month of experience.

Everyone’s sensitivity to red spots (burst capillaries) and bruising under the skin due to pumping is different.
You need to find your limit.

Like you, I start getting blue-purplish bruising under the skin of my glans if I either exceed pressure or stay inside the tube too much.

You may over time adapt, so for now, take a break until it goes away and then tone down the pressure a bit and keep your times inside the tube short until it doesn’t happen anymore. Then after a while, you can carefully increase one variable and see what happens.

Also, “firegoat rolls” immediately after you come out of the tube help. At least they help me. Search on TP for those.

STARTING: BPEL: 5.9in EG: 5.0in

2018: BPEL: 6.7in EG: 5.3in

NOW (start 1/2024): BPEL: 6.9in. EG: 5.4in

But what I’m noticing this spot is only showing up on the area of the glands that was specifically pressing up against the tube. I don’t experience this anywhere else. You experienced that also?

What’s the shortest and/or longest suggested breaks between sessions? EG, if someone’s doing 30 minutes a day, and it’s broken into x3 10 minute sessions, how long can the break be between? 3-5 minutes?

Hi Luck7!

I started 2 months ago with pumping with 3 sessions of 5 minutes interspersed with 2 minute breaks, now I have increased them to 6 sessions always com 2 minute breaks. So far so good I have no edema or red spots just a little discomfort in the pubic bone from the pressure of the tube but bearable. Greetings

Some guys do morning session and evening session, so break berween sets is not a concern.

So lately I’ve been encountering this issue with the urethra becoming pointy after 20 minutes (x2 10 minute sessions of 5hg, 5 minute breaks apart) I noticed it and continued.

I attempted to another 20 minute sessions (Total of 40 minutes), and when I was done, my urethra was like a pointy cone, disproportionate to the rest of my member… Why is this? Is this edema? Should I be worried? Should I go to ER? This happened last sessions I did this also, and it stayed pointy for maybe 2 hours after stopping.

I initially thought it was an allergy to coconut oil, so I switched to water based lube, but this is continuing to happen. This only started happening since I started shortening my breaks inbetween sessions. I used to do 20 minute breaks between sessions, then tried 10 minutes. But since starting the 3-5 minute breaks, I’ve been encountering this.

Is this uncommon or common? I can’t find anyone talking about this or posting any photos.

After these sessions does your urine stream normally or spray uncontrollably, forcing you to sit to avoid a mess?

If you are spraying, your shaft has squeezed the urethra inward, reducing and constricting it, which leads to a slight protrusion of the meatus and an uncontrolled spray. Very common and goes away in time with the edema.

I’ve used a sound to keep the urethra open with some success. I seldom use it because cleaning and keeping a sound sterile complicates the process.

It makes it slightly more difficult to pass urine. I looked it up and it may be a "Urethral edema". It looks unsightly and not cool though… It went away after maybe 3 hours last night? It looks scary. I noticed after the first (x2) 10 minute sessions, it started to appear. After the following (x2) 10 minute sessions, it was out of control looking.

I’m wondering why I’m experiencing the edema in that location specifically? I guess I’ll have to limit it at 20 minutes and see if that’s my limit from now on.

I don’t want to damage my member beyond repair. It seems like that would be the trajectory judging by the way the "Urethral edema" looks. It looks really off. I’m happy with the rest of the results I’m getting post pump, just that 1 symptom is throwing me off.
