I finally wet pumped for the first time last night. I was in the hot tub using my Joe Kaplan’s pump and “NO” I didn’t submerge the pump. I have no idea why someone would want to submerge it anyway.
I have to say that the pumping session was incredible and I could feel more of a pull if that makes sense, verses dry pumping. The other thing that stuck out was I was able to pack the tube in half the time.
The fact that I was in a hot tub was great because of all of the heat so I didn’t need to use my clunky sidekick, the heating pad. Big Girtha is right. I could use much higher pressure without the fluid build up.
Of course when I was done I just did my cool down in the hot tub; no lube or heating pad to deal with.
So I will incorporate this routine twice a week with the higher pressure to add a change to the workout so to speak.
I have a couple of other things that I will be checking out next time to verify some differences in the two methods of pumping. I will keep the board updated….
Beast - let us know how it goes if you decide to pump with water. My initial reaction is that “water” pumping is superior to dry, but only time will tell.
