LeLuv Automatic penis pump. Initial review

Thanks for the update and recommendation. I have owned a few of the smart pumps and the usb port always eventually fails. I’ll check out the new model. .

Vacuum leak

Anyone noticing the quick connect fitting leaks air? I previously just had the older iPump setup with the 2.5" cylinder. I bought the adaptor for the pump head and a 2" cylinder that comes with the quick connect fitting. I can’t maintain vacuum well at all, having to turn on the pump every 3 to 5 sec to keep the vacuum. I narrowed down the leak to the quick connect fitting. I have an email into LeLuv, no response yet. I could try to find a fatter o-ring or get rid of this quick connect all together. Not sure what the thread pitch is in the cylinder, 1/8" NPT? It’s a 1/4" hose barb for the other end - any thoughts, advice? I did try some coconut oil on the o-ring, didn’t help much.

Leaking is common. Try holding the hose fitting (male) pressed into the tube fitting (female). Or try removing the hose to see of the cylinder fitting holds the vacuum. Note that some off brand/cheap female fittings will not hold vac unless the male is connected,

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

I have always found LeLuv’s customer service to be very accommodating. Usually they send replacements.

I recently received a LeLuv cylinder where the fitting on the end of the cylinder was not tightened fully. I attempted to tighten fitting with a crescent wrench and broke it. Maybe your leak has the same cause?

If you have to tighten a fitting again, unscrew the fitting, clean everything, screw it back in, anduse a washcloth or paper towel and your fingers to tighten it. As you discovered, it doesn’t take much torque to break the plastic pieces.

[cough] Not that I would be speaking from experience or anything. [slinks away]

Sometimes there’s an o-ring on the threaded shaft. It is easy to damage it. Make sure it is not pinched.

Updates on this. Le Luv did get back to me and after I explained the tests I had run they are sending me a new female side of the quick connect fitting. I have confirmed it’s the male to female connection that is leaking. I will try what they send and see if it’s better. I did also find just a simple 1/8 straight male thread to 1/4 hose barb plastic fitting on Amazon if I just want to simplify this and ensure no leaking. Note the thread is not NPT but you can make NPT work if you use some plumbers tape likely. I may just use this anyway but for cleaning having the quick connect is nice, but not necessary.

I just got a two-pack of LeLuv female connectors in. They came directly from LeLuv.

They’re visibly tapered threads, as were the ones on previous orders. The do have an O-ring, though.

Previous ones screwed smoothly into 1/8 NPT female fittings, so these should as well, unless they’re some weird-Harold metric taper. Metric taper fittings are somewhat rare, and the nearest metric standard size is 10mm; they’re close enough to cross-thread into 1/8 NPT, depending on which end of the tolerance stack each part is on.

The fitting from LeLuv has some taper to it, agreed. The thread in the tube though seems to be straight cut, I now have some straight male thread to hose barb adapter fittings that screw in. I also have NPT to hose barb and it also screws in but is way too loose until nearly all the way threaded in.

Most likely, one or both of the parts are threaded wrong. I have lots of NPT bits that are supposed to screw together, but are either too loose to tighten up or just engage a couple of threads.

In your case, try a few turns of Teflon tape around the male fitting before screwing it in. It’s white, and found in the plumbing section of hardware stores.
