I thought mine may have a issue, but it sounds like it is normal. Mine does the same

Goes from something like - 10 to - 6 kPa in about 38 seconds. I’m not sure how accurate a comparison like this would be though. Is this normal?

That is dropping slower than mine does.

I don’t think you have an issue at all.

For comparison,

I just completed a session and I found it took about 11-12 seconds to drop from 19.5 kpa to 18.3

Good to know, thank you

Does anybody else have issues setting their desired vacuum?
I find that sometimes it wont set to auto and setting the pressure is very hit and miss and I either overshot or dont reach my ideal pressure

Any workaround anyone knows of?

I usually overshoot then set the auto as it slowly drops to the level I wanted.

I do the same, but it’s an obvious area for improvement. No reason you couldn’t just input the pressure you want.

Yep, would be ideal if you could just “dial up” the pressure you want. Make things a whole lot easier.

My issue is until I start to get some expansion in the tube, the pressure tends to drop through my desired pressure pretty quickly.

I guess I may have to spend the a few minutes just manually adjusting the vacuum until things stabilise.

Does anyone have somewhere I can go for in depth instructions? I can’t figure out how to set the auto mode for specific time holds? I see people in here setting it for 4x5 or 2x10, but when I press the smart button it just inflates and then deflates constantly (like inflates then instantly deflates…some sort of pulse mode) for 20 mins.

Great thread!

Years ago I got one of the no name “smart electric pumps” from eBay, and I thought the pump part was genius because it could automatically maintain a desired pressure, but the tube itself was not comfortable and my balls would keep getting sucked in because it was too wide at the base.
I dreamed of making an adapter so I could use the electric pump part with a different cylinder.

Well, it seems like Leluv made that adapter :)

But unfortunately I wasn’t able to get away with just the $10 quick disconnect adapter since my pump has a male end with an o-ring unlike the female end the leluv pump has.

Luckily, I found an eBay seller who sells only the pump component + adapter for $55 since I already have a couple of decent cylinders I actually like.

So, for people who already have a cylinder and only want the pump and want to save ~$30, you can get it on eBay:

Once you have set the pressure and turned on the auto mode, simply press the auto button again to increase the hold time in 1 minute increments, up to 10 minutes

Hey y’all,
So I recently decided to get an electric pump as well, but from China. It has 2000+ sales and a 4.6 stars rating so it should work.
Anyway, I am still going through the, as of now, 152-page long “Pumping 101” thread, and found this thread convenient due to being specific about the electric one, so here I go:

1- I Haven’t read a lot yet, but I have not (so far, still reading posts from 2005) found mentions of people using silicone rings at the base of the cylinder. It seems now most pumps come with them, as I understand they probably avoid the “ball sucking” issue. Does the use of these silicone rings at the base makes the use of lube to get a better grip obsolete?

2- Instead of lube (vaselin or water based), I jelq with a Cetaphil sensitive skin moisturizer. I find it better than oil, because oil is messy as hell, and better than water based due to the need of way less reapplications. Can I use it as cock-lube for the pump as well?

That’s it for now !

I’ve only dabbled in pumping over the years because I can’t overcome the logistical challenges of juggling the pump and tube and proper seal and not getting my balls sucked in, and keeping pressure at the right level, etc…

But I can tell you that whether you use a silicone ring on your tube or not, you need some sort of lubrication so that your cock will slide in without the skin getting caught up at the base or along the inside of the tube, and especially to get through the silicone ring.
You can use oil based lubes like lotion or coconut/olive oil, but it may break down the silicone/jelly material prematurely compared to water-based lubes.

Small price to pay for practicality though and those rings are cheap to get on eBay, so you can just replace them.

Now, cleaning the tube is another matter ;) oil based lubes require more cleaning and make a bigger mess, so try to keep the quantity to a minimum and wipe stuff down before washing.

What about the efficacy of water based lube vs oil on the cock inside the tube to help prevent injury?
