My buddy Dr Kaplan

I guess im just looking for everyone to ease my mind, because of who he is. When I first got started in this, I emailed Dr. Kaplan with a couple of questions. I dont have or remember the specifics, but i’ll do my best to relay his answers. I asked him about pumping beyond a year and growth. He replied that it was not possible, that all growth takes place within the first 10 months. Now my question is, he is Dr Kaplan, he stands to make money off of people pumping for a longer term. If he didnt believe this, he has no reason to say it. He refered to anyone pumping over a year as an extreme pumper. However, people are reporting gains after a year. So that throws what he said out the window. I forgot the other question. :) So besides anyone telling me he is a dumbass, maybe someone can shed some light on this subject. I havent been in the game long enough yet to say he is full of it. All replies welcomed.

I have been in PE for about a year and a half and my experience with pumping started in May 04 so I cant say for sure, but if you talk to guys like avocet8 or peforeal who have been doing it for 3 or 4 years, they will tell you that they got gains after the one year mark.

I am no expert, but I would define an “extreme pumper” as someone who makes their genitals into a swollen contorted mess.

RE: Dr. Kaplan. All I’ll say is, anyone can answer an e-mail and sign another person’s name. Plus, Ann Landers isn’t a real person, but a pseudonym. It may be the same for some Internet “doctors.” I have no facts or any reason to believe he isn’t a real person or a real doctor (MD, PhD EdD, chiropractor, optometrist), just my opinions.

Excellent point. Are you subconsciously saying I should kill him? :) Using a pump maybe?

It’s true that Ann Landers is a pseudonym used by Esther Pauline Friedman Lederer, but I believe that she and only she wrote the columns and in fact, after her death, she insisted the Ann Landers column no longer be continued.

But like westla said, it is very unlikely that any Doctor, real or not is monitoring that web site. But the nice thing is that at least you got a response to your email.

Im still toying with the notion of killing him. Death by pump. :)

I tend to be suspicious of Kaplan. I’ve read that he’s dodged the US FDA for years about his pumps. Supposedly, he was finally cornered into “participating” in a study to determine the issue of permanence of pumping - which I’m sure Kaplan already knows.

Pumps were initially designed for guys with ED. Pumping, in and of itself, never produces permanent gains. And I’m sure that Kaplan knows this. That he would say that gains don’t continue for more than 10 months is rather disingenuous. Gains don’t continue for more than a few hours, LOL. And the pumping boards I’ve perused (when trying to decide whether to pump or not to pump) all shared the same laments.

One guy said, “This is permanent? When? I’ve been doing this shit for over 20 years, but if I take a few weeks off I’m back to square one.” Many others commiserated with his complaints. Most said that they’ve increased their capacity to grow while in the tube, over time, but if they stop pumping altogether, their weinies return to their original size. Others simply said they enjoy the act of pumping or the freakish sizes they can temporarily achieve.

Using vacuum forces to trap lymphatic fluid into your penis *cannot* produce permanent size increases - not in 10 months or 10 years. The pumpers here who’ve claimed to have gotten permanent gains are quick to point out that they pump in conjunction with regular PE.

I ran the FDA website today looking for info on the Doc. One warning letter in regards to claiming “penis enlargement” and “FDA Approved” on the same websites. Years old and no followup. He is still pushing the FDA Approved thing, how he does it, I am not interested enough to find out.

The FDA Approval for pumps is for ED treatment, not penis enlargement. As Wad said, Kaplan knows it, the FDA knows it, most of us here know it, but the guys new to PE do not. They get the idea that the FDA approves his pump for enlargemnet.

I pumped for years and never saw any growth. I got more growth jelqing for one month than 5 years of pumping. I suggest not waisting your money. Besides they are way to embarrassing. I have stories but to embarrass to even post them. And I can’t seem to throw the damn thing away. I keep thinking well maybe I’ll use it down the road. It’s really my own personal trophy of ignorance I like to keep around the house!!

Really?!

I believe all FDA approved pump dealers claim FDA approval for treating ED and make no claims for actual enlargment.
