Once you've built up to it, is 30 mins nonstop pumped OK?

I’ve had my LeLuv pump for a few months now. When I started I was just doing 15mins every other day, and taking a 1-2min break every 5mins or so where I would take my penis out of the pump, and maybe “helicopter” or “cigar roll” it. I keep the pressure in the 5-7hg range.

Then I built up to 30 mins with breaks every 5 mins, then every 10 mins, then 15mins… and now I can go the full 30 mins with my penis in the pump. Still doing that 5-7hg pressure.range.

But is it OK to go 30mins nonstop pumped, even though you’re varying the pressure just a little?

Yes

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Absolutely

Your limit is edema. Some people have less of a problem with it than others.

The vacuum is pulling on the outside skin, which in turn pulls on the inside bits, which works fine until lymph trickles down the shaft and lets the skin pull away from the inside bits. Once that happens, there’s no pull on the inside any more as far as girth, and not much for length.

Yes

Current BPEL: 6.3”, MEG: 4.75” (12/2019)

Start BPEL: 6.0” MEG: 4.1" (2/2018)

Future BPEL: +1%, MEG: +1%

>until lymph trickles down the shaft and lets the skin pull away from the inside bits

So this is the point of diminishing returns? On average, after about how many minutes is it usually until enough edema sets in to make pumping reasonably ineffective?

Edema of itself does not make pumping ineffective. if you build up too much too quickly it may pack the tube, so from this aspect you could consider it negatively impacting your pumping. It may make you feel uncomfortable or you may dislike the look of the doughnut. It does go away in a few hours.

Edema buildup is a function of time and vaccum pressure and the rate of builup is different for every person. As you become more experienced with pumping, you will learn how to better manage it. If you are building up too much too quickly, try reducing vac level or reduce time, or both, until you get a better understanding of what the trigger is for you.

It’s all about context. I’m up to 2 hours on a continuous pump—but it’s super low pressure. I’m even under that 5-7 you mention. My goal is to lengthen the time period and to bring the pressure to a point where that can happen.

This is also where dynamic pumping may serve as a benefit in giving the dick enough time to adjust to the pressure relative to “immediately” jumping to your set vacuum level.

Example, if your routine calls for 30-minutes; you could start at 3Hg for 10-minutes, 4HG for 10-minutes and lastly 5Hg for 10-minutes (and scale accordingly).

The penis does not react well to sudden and drastic changes, which is why slow and steady is preach around here.

After 18 months of constant note taking for every single pump session, including length of time warming up, number of sets and length of each set, I found that any amount of time, regardless of pressure, over 10 minutes was a sure fired way to get spots and edema. I could pull 70 minutes of tube time with the most mild of edema, barely a donut, if I did 10 minutes sets spread out over like 2 hours of real time with jelqs between sets. But if I pumped for only 30 minutes and one of those sets was even just 11 minutes, I had a major donut and usually decent amount of spots. I never pumped over 5hg and really only did a few minutes at 5hg; most of my pumping is between 3-4hg and always has been. Everyone’s advice here is the bomb!! Like most are saying here, just go with the pressure and time that gives you little to no edema or spots/other issues.

Starting length, Spring 2003: bpel 6 3/8", bpfsl ~6 1/2", flaccid ~3-4" (never measured flaccid stretched or hanging flaccid; starting girth was probably ~5"-5 1/4")

Summer 2004: bpel 7 7/8", bpfsl 8 1/8", flaccid ~4", erect girth 5.3"

Spring 2018: bpel 7 1/4", bpfsl 7 5/8", erect girth 5 1/8"; Spring 2020: bpel 7 3/4", bpfsl 8", erect girth 5 3/8". Current - August 2023: bpel 7 3/4", bpfsl 8", erect girth mid shaft 5 1/4" (5 1/2" at base)

To answer your question…yes.

Just as PumpedMember has said, you will likely experience more of the side effects, but you will still get good expansion.

I started out with 1 x 10 minute sets, then 2 x 10 minutes. I never really packed the tube then. Eventually I moved up to 2 x 20 minutes and then 3 x 20 minutes and that’s when I learned what a donut was. Now I stick with 2 x 20 minutes and do a few stretches and helicopters in between sets. In the end, I have only mild edema and possibly a donut.

You mention 5hg - 7hg, are you pumping erect or flaccid? When I began pumping, it was only flaccid and I could get to 7hg-9hg with loads of edema. I mean, it felt pretty squishy. When I switched to erect pumping, I liked the results a lot better, but can only tolerate 3hg - 5hg.

Start: BPEL: 7” MSEG: 5" | Current: BPEL: 8.25” MSEG: 5.75" | Goal: BPEL: 8.5” MSEG: 6"

How do you manage to stay erect all the session ? I’m entering erect but losing erection while I’m not touching it.

You dont need to be erect when pumping. You don’t have to go into the tube erect to start.

As @32Quarters mentioned, you don’t need to enter the tube erect nor do you need to stay erect the entire time. Erect pumping is just my personal preference. I did flaccid pumping for the first six months of PE.

I don’t stay erect the entire time. I go in erect, get good expansion and when I exit the tube, I’m full and flaccid.
