The other main point is while under vacuum you need to keep the pump higher than the cylinder or water will rush in.

Hi, 32quarters,

Wondering if you can provide some information on your routine. Long time lurker, never really committed to the process. Want to start with at least 3 mo. of newbie routine and then maybe get into bathmate pumping.

Starting stats: 7.16 BPEL, 4.6 EG. Mostly interested in girth gains and it seems like that is the harder component to really make progress on. Mind sharing some of your success/wisdom with this process?

Thanks!

Initial=> Bpel: 6.75 Nbpel: 6.25 EG: 4.6 Current: Bpel: 6.9 Nbpel: 6.5

Post (girth) pumping: 5.25, Post (girth) pumping with c-ring: 5.5

Goal=> Pre-pump Nbel: 7.5 Eg: 5.5

Perrin I moved your question from the original thread to avoid potentially derailing it.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7.75” BPEL; 7.25” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Newby pumpers need to shoot for -5inHg for 10 min, using constant heat to keep the penile tissues more elastic. For some guys this is too much vac and results in pain, edema or petechia. For those guys, reduce the vac level to -3 and try again, and as you get accustomed to the vacuum you can increase it slowly. May also need to reduce the time for those initial sessions. Keep your penis well lubed

Here is a good thread to review:

Vacuum Pumping 101

I’m not trying to avoid your question, but my PE journey is a complicated one and hard to explain in a few sentences. The long boring story is in my progress journal, which I seldom update. I am an accidental PE’er. I had sudden onset ED when EQ went to 0. Went to dr for gainswave treatments (successful) and he said to get a pump and start pumping. I found Thunders a few months after then when I had already gained an inch in length. My early journey is not a path for anyone to follow, and I realize I am lucky that I did gain 1” length without an injury, and wonder how much I could have gained if I had a better understanding of what I was doing.

I have been pumping for several years and it took me a long time to get to my current program, which is -5inHg for 60 min twice daily, off on weekend, with a heating pad around my tube. The reality is that life gets in the way of PE and sometimes I only get 1 session in, or no sessions in. I just work around it. Sometimes my lube dries up and I pull out, relube, do a couple firegoat rolls and get back into it.

I was inconsistent using heat early on, and gained my girth once I always included it.

Thank you so much for the insight. Glad to hear you’ve turned ED on its head! I am curious, did you ever incorporate any other PE elements into your routine such as jelq, stretch, newbie routine, etc. or have you stuck with a pump based regimen?

Also, do you go in erect or flaccid? Does that affect whether gains or more length or girth directed?

Due to my ED I go into the tube flaccid. Doesnt seem to matter on gains, at least for me.

I have close to 600 hrs in an X4 extender trying to straighten a big curve I developed. It did not seem to help much.

Just order a pump. Really think a pump based routine is going to work out well or at least be more manageable that other methods. Thank you again for the advice!

I would have to go through the thread and Double check but I believe you mentioned incorporating a heating pad to the pumping routine, placing it around the pump to ensure heating throughout the exercise. Is there a heating pad that you recommend? I am concerned that some might be too warm and compromise the Bathmate device.

I bought the cheapest one I could find, which is a Sunbeam 8x9” from Amazon for around $14.00. Another member uses reptile pad warmers which I think he got for $4 on alibaba, but shipping takes a long time. Some are usb power connections, others are conventional 110/120v plugs. Get what is most convenient for you.

Just make sure it is large enough to wrap around the tube fully. Mine will get hot enough to burn if I’m not paying attention. I startin high then switch to medium heat. I’ll pre warm the tube when I remember to. To minimize the chance of burn I wrap the tube in a hand towel first, then the heat pad.

Sounds great. Thank you so much for the advice. A week into using the Bathmate now and loving it.

This is going to get tricky… I am using the device in/while I shower at the moment. So adding electronics to the mix is going to get a little complicated!

Saw a thread about all day c-rings for great girths gains… I really like the idea of this but I’m a week into this and from what I’ve read, so many people seem to caution “don’t do too much too soon.” Probably best to just stick to 15-20 mins / day at .5 inch below max BPEL for now, right? (I saved piece you wrote explaining that to someone else)

Thank you again for all your help with this.

Correct, don’t do too much too soon. A large part of your early time is learning how your penis responds to your PE activity. It is also conditioning your penis, getting it in “shape” so you can expand your technique at some later time.

I’m not sure the value of an all day c ring. Some guys think they are helpful, the few times I tried them I didnt get much from it. However, I have and do use an LG Hanger girth band after a pumping session. I wear it for a couple hours or so and it does seem to keep the girth up for a longer period.

You don’t use a heating pad with a Bathmate, especially an electric one! Heating pads are for air pumping.

Since you are using it in your shower or tub, you just fill it with warm water.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Just want to thank you again for sharing your experiential wisdom. Almost two weeks into pumping, not much to report gains wise of course but definitely experiencing the “heavy flaccid” after a session and absolutely loving it. I usually end up throwing the c-ring on after just to see the effects of the exercise. Definitely a noticeable difference post pump. The stretch definitely results in more of a filling capability and the heaviness/girth gains of pump into c-ring are wild.
