Pump Questions

Pump Questions

Hello guys, I would like to start a workout with the air pump but I would have some doubts.

1. Can I start directly with light sessions or should I first do a period of exercises like Jelqing?

2. Is it necessary to make the Warmup and the Warmdown (5 min Rice SOCK) or can you start the pumping session directly?

3. With a length of 5.9 " and a EG at middle of the shaft is 4.44", but in the EG of the Glans is 4.92", what cylinder size should I take?
(What width should it be considered? Shaft or glans?)

4. Are there precautions or considerations to be made if you have some curve?

5. Is the lubricant always necessary or can it be avoided using? In case, how should it be used?
(is the control lubricant okay or does it take a certain type?)

Hi Saret,
I’ll answer your questions briefly:

1. Can I start directly with light sessions or should I first do a period of exercises like Jelqing?
Answer: You can start using the vacuum pump without necessarily doing Jelqing first. However, it’s important to begin with light routines and gradually increase the duration, avoiding excessive pressure. That said, I would personally recommend following the newbie routine for a month to see how it works for you. Keep in mind that the vacuum pump, if used alone without other techniques or tools, will only provide temporary results.

2. Is it necessary to make the Warmup and the Warmdown (5 min Rice SOCK) or can you start the pumping session directly?
Answer: Yes, pre-workout warming up is essential. Additionally, I suggest thoroughly lubricating the penis during pumping sessions to prevent issues like overly stretched dry skin, discoloration, edema, or broken capillaries.

3. With a length of 5.9 " and a EG at middle of the shaft is 4.44", but in the EG of the Glans is 4.92", what cylinder size should I take?
Answer The choice of cylinder depends on your goal: increasing length or girth. Once you decide, I can recommend the most suitable size.

4. Are there precautions or considerations to be made if you have some curve?
Answer: It depends on the curvature and how comfortable you feel inside the cylinder. If you have a slight curvature that doesn’t cause any issues during pumping, you can pump without any problems.

5. Is the lubricant always necessary or can it be avoided using? In case, how should it be used?
Answer: Yes, it is necessary if you want to avoid problems. I personally use Vaseline, but you can also opt for coconut oil or other highly moisturizing and lubricating vegetable oils.

I hope I’ve been helpful. Feel free to ask if you have any questions!

Welcome Saret!

1: The convention wisdom here is to start with manual exercises. See the Newbie Routine for suggestions. "Light sessions" would be a fine to start with or as an addition to any manuals you have time for.

2: Some form of warm up is always a good idea. Rice socks and heat pads work well. Try to go in the tube erect and start with low pressure for a 3-5 minutes. Working up to erection is a warm up in itself. Using a heat source during pumping is also beneficial.

3: A 1.75 inch cylinder should work well to start.

4: If you have a big curve you may need larger. The larger you go, the greater the chance of ball discomfort from getting sucked into the tube.

5: Air pumpers like coconut oil. I prefer water pumping without lube, but both work.

Make a log and track your strain% before and after your sessions.

Good luck l!

I agree that a 1.75” cylinder is a good way to go. However, if you can afford a second cylinder at 1.75 elliptical, it would be a good to use it after packing the round cylinder. It helped me gain girth

Ok thanks for the advice.

- When you say "Keep in mind that the vacuum pump, if used alone without other techniques or tools, will only provide temporary results", what do you mean? How can I make the gain permanent?

- Also, can you recommend me some devices?

He’s stating his opinion and/or experience, not fact. Vacuum pumping does generate permanent gains. All my gains are from pumping.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Indeed, I realize that I expressed an opinion that might come across as a statement supported by facts. I apologize for the transcription error during the translation.

As 32 rightly pointed out, everyone has their own unique experience in the world of PE. In my case, using the vacuum pump alone did not lead to permanent gains, but that doesn’t mean the same will apply to you! Each person responds differently to training, and what didn’t work for me might turn out to be effective for you.

That said, I must add that, based on most of the experiences I’ve followed from users who used the vacuum pump, I noticed that significant gains occurred more frequently when it was combined with other types of training.

I used primarily pumping with some girth exercises intermixed and after five years I had gained over 1” in girth.
