Pumping, blood and a piercing

I’m relatively new to pumping, and I recently had a rather negative experience. I have an apadravya piercing (vertically through my glans), and I have been removing the jewellery to pump. However, last time I pumped, about 3 minutes in at 5Hg I noticed thick dark blood oozing from my fistula. Of course I stopped immediately and have been treating my poor member very nicely since.

It’s been long enough to heal now, and everything seems okay, but I wanted to ask any members with piercings if they leave the jewellery in while pumping, and whether they think that leaving the jewellery in will help stop this happening again in the future. Any ideas or comments would be much appreciated. Thanks.

How long have you had the piercing (i.e. how well developed is the fistula)? I understand these things take a loooong time to develop thick skin, so maybe that is forming a weak spot on your penis.

A bit over a year, recently stretched to 6g, which I think may have contributed to the problem. There’s definitely a weak spot in the fistula now, I can feel it hurting just a little if I remove the jewellery and then reinsert without a taper, but I don’t think it was there before my little ‘incident’.
