pumping expansion help

Hello, I bought a pump from vacutech. It is the thickwall cylinder. I am 5 inch MEG and so I got the 1.5 x 2 x 9 that they recommended. I find when I pump that only my base gets thicker. The midshaft and head do not get bigger or expand much beyond my usual erect girth. I put my penis in erect, there is a good suction and I do not lose any HG. I pump up to 5hg (anything more and there is discomfort). Well, as I said, I don’t seem to get any girth expansion. I’ve read a lot of new pumper threads and no one seems to mention this. Can someone please guide me on what I could be doing wrong?

If you just started, that is not unusual at all. Pumping is a factor of both time and pressure, so whenever you describe what you are doing, you have to let us know both. What usually happens, as you gain more experience, your results and expansion keep improving.

So you are using 5”hg, but for how long do you pump?

Thank you for answering. I just finished pumping. Today I pumped 10 mins @ 4 hg and 2 x 20 mins @ 5 hg with 1 + hour breaks inbetween. No discoloration or pain.

I can’t explain your issue other than to say you may need to condition your dick for a week or so in order to get full shaft engorgement.

It may not matter, but I have ED and always go in flaccid and I never experienced your issue.

Are you using heat?

To elaborate, heat will help expansion but…expansion is actually not going to always happen when you first start pumping. A thing I did until pumping worked was only try it every so often and when it made me mad I’d quit for a while and work girth some other way so if it’s being uncooperative go and do some other girth exercises and come back with a more conditioned dick.

(a heating pad on the tube that isn’t hot enough to make the tube burn you where it touches is incredible for expansion, I wish I knew about it when I started pumping. I’d say it’s mandatory if I had any pumping advice at all)

I went in on clamping and ULI#3 usually. One or the other when I was focusing girth. A couple weeks or a month of that then I’d give pumping a try when it came back to mind.

The key is staying away from the frustration. Frustrated pumpers pump too high pressure, too long and get hurt. Been there and done that.

Another question. If I want to gain length. Do I need to get fully erect in the pump and keep that erection going/pushing by watching porn or being stimulated? I have read some conflicting things on that. Some say they gained length without being erect and just flaccid pumping, others say they try to push their erections to the max then keep pumping to push/stretch the tissue past the normal erection length.

Erect pumping is really a lot of theory and hit or miss. And usually, only results from that happen after a long time spent in the tube, regardless of the sizing of it. I’d focus most on pumping successfully now and if length comes, let it be and enjoy it.
