Pumping gains - Hypertrophy vs Hyperplasia

Thanks Titleist, that’s encouraging to know, especially since we are similar in age.

I have had a break for a few days and EQ has come back as good as ever so I am going to incorporate a few more rest days in my routine and see how that goes.

The smooth muscle changes its appearance and function through modulation. But continues to be a smooth muscle cell but it begins to secreat collagen and other extracellular proteins. It’s similar in what happens in atherosclerosis and pulmonary hypertension.

The way I understand it is the smooth muscle cell looses its ability to contract. That one cell or multiple not all. So you would bot loose any erection ability. AlSo over time they secrete collagen and then turn back to normal smooth muscle cells.

This could be one cause of growth during priapism.

Also another thing I have been researching is endoreplication. But I have not got anywhere on that and how it works.

This is getting beyond my technical knowledge of anatomy and physiology, but if the changes to smooth muscle in the pulmonary arteries cause hypertension, doen’t this mean that they have also lost their ability to relax? If this is the case in the penis then wouldn’t it stop you getting a full erection?

It is very hard to know from reading theory and while I find it facinating, I think that we need to keep sight of the empical evidence, which is the experience of vet pumpers. At this stage I don’t have enough replies to form an opinion but there are at least a few who report significant growth and high quality erections after years of pumping.

Similarly there are many reports of people who experience some or no growth and a significant decrease in EQ. I just want to make sure that I fall into the category of the former!

I have reared all week and I’m back to hard erections, but I still notice a little sponginess, but this is only a month of pumping.

My erections were never a problem after pumping.. Until I got too fatigued.

Dies that suggest that we render our dicks useless for a while and then heal up longer?

I have modified my pumping regime and I have finally found something that my dick is happy with (improved EQ):

1. Heat, stretching, heat
2. Gain an erection as hard a possible (using a cock ring)
3. Enter the tube and apply the hot rice sock to the tube
4. Kegel in the tube for 5 mins @ 3Hg
5. Come out of the tube, remove the cock ring and do a set of Firegoat rolls then jelq for 2 mins.
6. Reapply cock ring, get as hard as possible and reenter tube, apply rice sock
7. Kegal in the tube for 5 mins @ 4Hg
8. Repeat 5-7 at 5Hg.
9. Come out of the tube, remove the cock ring and do a set of Firegoat rolls then jelq for 2 mins.
10. Edge for 5 mins

So far I have been rewarded with less fluid buildup and better post-pump EQ.

It’s taken a while for me to find something that works for me. I hope this might be of use to anybody who experiences poor EQ after pumping.

Not useless, but some may find EQ a bit lower.
