QUESTION : "Non-standard" pump

QUESTION : "Non-standard" pump

Hello Everybody,

I have just started the pumping exercises but as I am afraid of any injury I can make myself - I need some advices from more experienced users. So let me start.

I bought a pump in adult store, but it is a very simple one - just a plastic tube plus sealing ring and a rubber “pump” with a pipe linked to the tube. Frankly speaking it was quite cheap and probably not good quality… :-(

I made a mistake and after some exercises I found out that the tube is too small for me, besides the tube’s plastic is too flexible. The fact is that during the pumping the underpressure gained made the tube little deformated, so I felt the pennis tighten by the plastic.

What I did - I bought the separated tube made of tempered glass (Luminarc) that replaced the plastic one. After that step I feel much much more comfortable.

Ok, after that pre-words I would like to ask about two things:
1. as you can imagine my pump - shall I consider it as a secure device or rather find something more “standard”
2. observing other topics on that forum - I see you are using the exact pressure values (in Hg) - I have no measure on my pump, so I really don’t know how much I am pumping. Is it really necessary to know the pressure or can I use the pump “by feeling”?

Thanks for any comments you would provide
Regards
Ultragliss

If you are serious about pumping, you should buy a quality system with a gauge. This Deluxe pump with gauge is a very good one and will last a very long time. You should email them to find out about international shipments. The cost might seem high, but it is well worth it.

The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

Non-Standard Pumps

I am also "just starting" using a penis pump. Like you I’ve encountered countless verities and prices all over the place. A few things I learned to avoid.
A. Never buy a "tapered cylinder" those are a total waste of money
B. Avoid those pumps that have a built-in electronic vacuum pump ie "Tracy’s Dog" http://www.amaz … /dp/B0144CH0AM/ The vacuum pump lasted two (2) sessions
C. You don’t need a gauge. If what you ‘re doing hurts.. Then stop.

I’ll post the "Kit" that I’ve pulled together and its working just fine and I didn’t spend $150.00 to get a good quality set-up

I and many others disagree. You cock is a very bad pressure sensor. You can easily be pumping above your injury pressure limit and not feel any pain. Your only indication of trouble will be when you exit the tube and see hundreds of broken capillaries (red spots) and then it’s too late. Now your only course of action is to waste time by not pumping again until you have healed up.

Dangerous and absolutely not recommended.

In this section you cannot upload penis pictures.

Not posting penis photos. I want to post photos of the “pump” system I’m using.

Trying to get a few photos in this thread.. How ?

I’ve submitted 5 photos to display my pump system.
I wanted an electric pump and most good quality pumps are rather expensive. (In my opinion) I have found a suitable alternative.
My "system" does incorporate a few "non-standard" component parts. I do not like to play around with cheap / trash its a waste of time and money.
The assembly is simple as "Plug & Play". These is no need to modify anything in this "system".
Here is a list of the component parts:
STANDARD PARTS:
1) Cylinder: http://www.amaz … /dp/B00MV8QV16/
Buy the diameter size that fits "You"
2) Hose with fitting: http://www.amaz … /dp/B00H3PJNX0/
The hose I bought the 24" length
3) Cylinder Seal: http://www.amaz … /dp/B0083BGIT0/
Make sure (if you buy a seal) that it is the correct size for your cylinder.
Non-Standard Parts:
4) The Vacuum Pump: http://www.amaz … /dp/B005FBQR38/
This pump has a rechargeable battery easy to use and draws a strong "pull". These pumps have been around for some time. Easy to buy anywhere.
And they are inexpensive !
The next step is to connect the pump to the cylinder:
Starting at the pump. You need a "union" or nipple. I used a Volkswagen vacuum hose connector P/N: 06A-133-382-K This union has two diameters. Push the small end into the pump face.
The next part is a Vacuum one-way check valve. Again I used a Volkswagen Vacuum check valve P/N: 046-905-291-A
This check valve permits the cylinder to maintain & hold a steady vacuum once you’ve reached the vacuum level you desire.

Afterwards you can plumb in a vacuum gauge should you want one.

Pump in picture does not have a vacuum gauge so in my opinion is a total waste of money.

I guess that you didn’t read the whole post.. Did you ?

The pictures tell the story. There’s no gauge so there’s not point. If you’re serious, get a quality set up with a gauge.

I put together a quality system including a Harbor Freight brake bleeder with gauge ($17), LeLuv cylinder($26), and McMaster male connector ($2.15), for under $50. I bought the pump over six years ago and it is still working effectively on a daily basis.

It can be done on the cheap as you have shown. It’s just not something you can do in an effort to grow, without a gauge. Sounds like you have a great set up.
