Selecting Your Cylinder Size

Hi! I’ve been searching through the forum and on the net but couldn’t really find an answer. So, I’m due to purchase a new cylinder since I want to upgrade to a 2.25 wide one. But the thing is I live in Europe and couldn’t find any store that has a 2.25 x 10 inches cylinder.. Thickwall is closing and that is the only place I know it made custom ones. I have two options, either purchase an already available cylinder from lapump on any European sexshop which are 2.25 x 9, or order a custom one from lapump in USA which will not only take a lot of time to arrive but I’m gonna be scalped on shipping and taxes lol

To be honest, my cylinder is 2 x 10, and while I need a new one with wise, I still see too much space on the length despite me being 8.2-8.5 BPEL, so maybe since I don’t want to add any more length, I can go with the 2.25 x 9 one. What do you guys recommend me? Do you know any place in Europe for custom ones?

I just looked at ebay.es and they have plenty of tubes listed. If you can’t find one in Spain, some of them ship from the USA, but the charges don’t look outrageously bad; a third of what it cost me to ship a tube from Germany to the USA a couple of years ago, anyway.

Thank you! I’ll look them up on eBay

So want to get into pumping and was hoping to ask can I pump twice a day one for length and the other for girth?

Lube for Pump

Hey 114,

What type of lube are you using? Will coconut oil work?

Thanks!

Coconut oil works quite well. I have been using it for years. It’s light, washes off easily, no bad smell and in solid form at room temperature.

Having a really hard time deciding if I should invest in a 1.75 cylinder so I can try some length pumping/packing
I have a 2.00 that I can’t pack my girth is 5.35 should I invest in a smaller 1.75 or would it be pointless cause it outgrow it so fast?

Also if I did buy it up until what girth can I continue to use a 1.75

Check the size chart in the first post. A 1.75 is too small.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7.75” BPEL; 7.25” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

My girth is 4.9” around and I can’t fit into a 1.75” tube. It’s just slightly tapered.

Have you tried condom pumping?

I measure just over 6 inches base girth. Based on my previous experience the 2 inch diameter tube (which is what I thought I used years ago) seemed like it would be too tight. So I made a couple of sleeves from old plastic vitamin bottles, one at 2 inch diameter and one at 2.25 inch diameter. To my happy surprise the 2 inch sleeve was stuck way too tight about half way down. The 2.25 inch sleeve seems to fit like my years ago tube did.

A true 2” i.d. cylinder has 6.28” circumference (girth). Are you sure your vitamin bottle was 2” i.d. or your girth isn’t larger than 6”?

See attached pic. I also verified with a circumferential measurement. I am trying to be as accurate as possible.

I do have some very mild upward curvature. So over the length of the sleeve there may be some additional constriction.

And all measurements have error or uncertainty. I have read that some 2 inch tubes are closer to 1.9 - maybe because of manufacturing tolerance or variation or process. And for sure that would be a no go showstopper.

Yes I may be erring on the low side of measuring my penis. But I would rather do that than delude myself and others that I am larger than I actually am.

My previous tube from years ago was an industrial acrylic cylinder that I modified. I am highly certain that it was 2 inch ID. I know I measured 5.625 erect girth at the time. And I remember how it used to fit. Even fully erect there was some looseness until I started pumping.

I could hardly believe that the 2 inch sleeve is tight now. I do measure bigger at 5.75. And the base is not quite 6.125.

If I could find a tube at 2.125 inch or 54 or 56 mm I would definitely consider it. But for now 2.25 seems like the way to go.

Also I was posting the sleeve idea as something others could try easily to get an estimate. Remember to cut that plastic carefully and make sure there are no sharp edges!
