Strange First Experience Pumping, Any Advice?

Strange First Experience Pumping, Any Advice?

So i had a strange first experience pumping. I think i did it wrong. I was only partly erect when i entered and pumped up (I certainly got erect after that) and kept the pump for 5 minutes. I noticed i got a bit of the fat pad or maybe just excess skin in the tube. And when i pumped up the markers on the tube indicated I had reached the unusual length of 7” (I’m normally not that.) But when i released pressure to double check, i found i was at my normal 6.5/6.6 or something there abouts.

This was more recreational that a routine, normally I only do the “Newbie” routine, but I wanted to see if there were any hidden depths to my potential I had yet to achieve. So, just curious, is this something that happens standard or did I just damage my penis doing this incorrectly? (No negative PI’s thus far.)

Thanks in advance, sorry for the silly question.

Cheers!

Based on what you describe, you are fine.

As you pump and increase the pressure, the tube is pushed into your fat pad and your penis is pulled further into the tube. Hence the larger reading. This should be somewhere near your BPEL, maybe even a 1/2 inch longer depending on the amount of pressure used.

You did right by going in erect. Although I’ve only recently learned about this, you should try to go in fully erect. The idea is you are expanding your erect girth a tad beyond its limit each time, thus causing slight incremental increases that aggregate and stick over time.

Start: BPEL: 7” MSEG: 5" | Current: BPEL: 8.25” MSEG: 5.75" | Goal: BPEL: 8.5” MSEG: 6"

1st Goal: 7.5" x 5.5" | Achieved: 01/15/2021 | 2nd Goal: 8.25 x 5.75 | Achieved: 05/19/2021

You dont have to go in fully erect. If you can, do it; if not dont worry about it. I dont go in erect.. The theory is that if you enter the tube erect there will have less edema build up as the blood vessel and tissues are restricted. You’ll soon learn how to manage the session to minimize edema.

Initial: 7” BPEL; 6” NBPEL; 5.25” - 5.5” MEG

Current: 7-7/8” BPEL; 7-3/8” NBPEL; 8.5” BPFSL; 6.5” MEG; 6”x5” Flaccid.

Goal: Improved/consistent EQ while managing ED. Secondary: maintain current stats.

Oh that’s a relief, you guys are the best. I think I’ll probably still hold off on adding pumping for a while. I’ll keep continuing the newbie routine for the next 4 and a half months and maybe add that in, unless you guys think i should add the air pump in sooner?

How long have you been on the newbie routine?

In most cases, the newbie routine can produce gains on its own. It would be a good practice to continue the newbie routine until no more gains happen.

The thinking is, use the least amount of force possible for gains so that you have room to progress.

If the newbie routine is producing gains, there’s no need to throw the pump into the mix just yet

Im on week 7 give or take right now. I started April 12th, so I’m not even close to the 6 months of using it. Not enough time to see significant gains either way i’ve noticed.

Hey man! How is it?

I’d also like to know how much can a pump stretch over our normal length.

I started my PE with the air pump only doing it all very wrong and got very bad EQ after it.

I’d really like to know how much this temporary gains can be.
On my first pic after a heavy pumping routine I was hitting 16,5cm On the heavyest pressure. I think at the time my BPEL was around 15cm.
On my last pic with 18,5 with moderate pressure. That’s 1cm over my BPEL.
I also get to 16cm MSEG.

After this mistake I’ve found this place, started with some hardcore manuals, hanging and ADS.

Now I hydro pump, some hanging and resume to the ADS.

I have pumped probably a hundred times or more. I always get to my full erect length in the tube whether I’m half erect or fully erect. “one magical time” I got to almost an inch longer than my BPEL in the tube, but it never happened again. My penis was kissing the end of the tube and I thought great il get there again and that was 2 months ago.

Thanks @32quarters for the clarification. Every clip that I’ve seen, they never go in erect. However, I ran across a post three weeks ago on using the bathmate and the recommendation was to go in erect. I asked around and it was further recommended. I thought, gosh, I’ve been doing this wrong for six months, damn. So I started going in erect. It’s too early for me to speak on any advantages but, what I like about going in erect is:

1. Instant seal, my base erect girth fills the 2” tube so I get a good seal with having to “hold” my balls out of the way.

2. Shaft expansion. I feel the pressure immediately when I go in erect. Going in flaccid, I would have to wait a bit, or enter into more dangerous pressures like 7hg+. Going in erect has confirmed that pumping above 5hg is dangerous. The pressure is pretty serious at 5hg.

3. Yes, there is less edema for me.

I still can’t say which is better for the ultimate goal, gains. But that is the sum of differences that I’ve experienced so far.

I agree completely. Entering erect is not necessary for gains but do enter with the highest erection level you can.

Remember to go slow gentlemen. Not too much vacuum and slowly build up your time in the tube over many months.

Dr Grayson, I would highly recommend you focus on perfecting your jelqing and stretching technique and complete the newbie routine before adding the pump. If you choose to do so, you will be very glad you did.

Personally the beginning of my PE journey was very bumpy because I didn’t listen to vets advice and started pumping right from the start. It took me years to get a solid grip on how I should be doing PE based on MY penis vs what I had read worked for others. Your experience may be different if you choose to keep pumping but I certainly wish I had done things differently in the beginning

Well my pops always told me that people will charge you quite a bit for bad advice. But this sounds like good advice and you’ve offered it for free, so I’ll gladly accept the guidance my man.

Right on man.

I’m no guru but I do have some years of experience under my belt and I do try to share sound advice when I can. Usually my intentions are for injury prevention and/or helping a newbie not potentially spin his wheels in the mud.

I wasted far too much time doing things I wasn’t ready for in the beginning and I regret it a little bit.

My gains have been ok but I truly believe they could have been better if I had done things a little more sensibly in the early days
