Trying something different.
I am getting back into pumping, and I am trying a different approach this time. Rather than pumping and staying pumped for 10 to 20 minutes, I am just pumping up for a minute, then deflating and as soon as the pressure is back down to zero, I pump back to about 5 Hg for another minute. So far I have been doing this for a half hour at a time. I am thinking the blood is being circulated every time I do this, so I could do it for as long as I had time to do it.
My goal with pumping is to have better EQ, and increased flaccid hang. I have made some gains extending that I am happy with, and I will still do a little extending, or maybe just some ADS to keep the gains that I made.
I am find that when I keep cycling every minute I will start to fill the tube better than if I just pumped and held it for 10 or 20 minutes. There seems to be something about every time I deflate and then pump I fill a little more, at least for the first few cycles.
I have a converted electric Whisper pump that I am going to start using soon, so I can do other stuff while I am cycling. I haven’t figured just how I will set it up yet (pressure switches, timers, etc).
Surely someone else has tried this. I figure it is a lot like manually stretching and holding the stretch for a minute. Maybe it would make more sense to do 3 minute cycles. I just want to be sure I am getting enough fresh blood.
Anyone have any comments?
