tube size question

Hello gentlemen.

I am posting in order to ask what size tube I should use as I have never pumped before and wouldn’t want to get this purchase wrong being that it will be over the internet.

BPEL is about 7.5-7.75” and EG at VERY base is like 6.75” nearly 7” at extreme (bottom) of base. Shaft is basically 6”, only gets above 6 at base and little over halfway up.

I agree with Sparky91’s recommendation based on your current size. With your large base girth, you could even possibly go with a 2.5” diameter cylinder (what I use), if money is an issue. But the 2.25” size would be best to start out with.

Pef, do you suggest the 2.5 so that I don’t have to buy one after filling a 2.25?
Also, if I were to continue using the 2.25 after customarily ‘filling’ it, would I stimulate length gains? Is there any danger to that?
Oh yeah, and does 12” seem a reasonable length for the tube?

The question I find interesting. The answers however, give little away; dare I say they could have been drawn out of a hat! Therefore, is it possible that in futre some explenation or theory could be put forward in support of the given answers, to give a better all round understanding. Even us oldbies can still learn.
