Vacuum NOT Pressure

Vacuum NOT Pressure

As an OG here at Thunder’s Place as well as pumping, I want to address something I see on (just about) every thread.

I’m not here to be the grammar police: I simply see a constant misstatement of what is actually taking place while pumping.

Air is being sucked out of the tube (vacuum) not pushed in (pressure). A brake bleeder pump removes air and does not push air into a line or cylinder.

I’m sensitive to the new folks that come on here trying to find answers and make sense of it all so this is more so directed towards them but; we all can benefit from the reminder.

Carry on and y’all take care!!!

I think the mis-statements stem from the fact that the vaccum from the pump, causes pressure in the penis.

Guilty. But vacuum can also be stated as negative pressure (relative to 1 atmosphere), and everyone knows what we’re talking about, so I think no harm no foul.

Start: Oct '16 - 6.75" BPEL, 4.875" MSEG

Current: Oct 15, '22 - 7.875" BPEL, 5.875" MSEG

GOAL: 8" BPEL X 6" MSEG

Vacuum (in this context) is just negative pressure relative to the atmosphere.

I don’t think the semantics matters.

True enough. My point is I’ve never heard of anyone refer to pressure as negative vacuum either such as when we’re talking about how much one squeezes whilst jelqing

Of course we all know what each other’s referring to because it’s been stated so much that it’s a “norm”

I’m simply sorting the closet (so to speak)

On a positive note “vacuum” is (6) letters compared to “pressure” at (8). I’m trying to help you guys save key strokes. Lol

Well, we can still call it “negative pressure” and it’ll be ok. My 2 cents.

inicial 1996: BPEL 15cm (Margin of error +/- 0.5cm) MSEG: 14.1 cm

inicio extender (sept2012): 15,5cm BPEL /14,1cm MSEG --- Hanging: inicio: Ago 21 2022 21.0cm --- Ultima medicion: Sept 1 2022: 21.6cm BPEL x 15,1cm MSEG

Meta: 28cm BPEL x 21cm MSEG -- si, quiero tenerla mas gorda que tu vieja. jaja

The devices I work with professionally and provide technical support to engineers all over the world for at some of the most high tech companies, use vacuum and require specific vacuum levels to operate correctly.

Every engineer I ever speak with refers to “vacuum pressure” and 85% of the time the negative sign is omitted in front of the number.
We all know what we mean.

I always include the negative just because my professors in college would have given me an F otherwise, but I know for a fact I’m in the vast minority in practice ;)

I think us dick pullers will be just fine haha
