Hey, I’ve followed the newbie routine as closely as I can, and I’ve edged A LOT. Particularly after a PE session, and probably an hour or so later. I feel like I’m doing something right when I let the exercised penis be filled with blood again, and edging helps with EQ.
I studied the post about PIs and watched my penis carefully for them. I would adjust the following day accordingly. Also, I’ve been measuring daily after edging, and after my PE routine to see how much expansion, roughly, I’m getting.
My goal in a session is to maximise expansion and minimise negative PIs. So, each day I adjust according to how these two variables are. IE. I get a bit of light bruising in the head of my penis after jelqing. Probably jelqed slightly too hard. But expansion was good and temp gains stuck around. So, if I jelq just slightly less hard so that it doesn’t bruise, I should maintain the expansion without the negative PIs.
But 2 days on, 1 day off has worked wonders for me. I usually edge 2 times on my rest day for about 30-45 minutes each. As long as I can really.
TL;DR
Newbie routine 100%. Edge often to get penis filled with blood again (fill the temp gains back up). Measure and manage size and PIs after each session. Find optimal level of force. Don’t wear tight underwear. Don’t watch porn or ejaculate. However, porn can be okay in moderation if you really need it for jelqing.
Other than that, and outside of PE, try to be healthy and get as much sleep as you need (sleep is when we heal, which includes our penis after we’ve done controlled damage to it). Avoid trans and saturated fats. If you lift weights, focus on heavy compound movements to boost test. Some cardio or anaerobic exercise for circulation.
These are things I try to do, and are important with life and PE, but are certainly not required to get gains instead with PE, though they can help.
I hope this helped. If you have any more questions, I’ll happily get back to you when I see them. I truly wish you all the best with it!
