Hi !

What made me want to share my experience is a minor injury I just had 1 week ago (the subject will not be the injury though, it’s just the starting point of my progress report).

So I followed the newbie routine : 5 min stretching and 3 min jelqing at first, and sometimes edging for 30 to 60 min.

I did this for 1 month and I think I saw no change in size which is something like 6,8 inches BPEL and 5,4 inches EG (mid shaft). Then I made the wrong decision : I went too fast. I thought I wasn’t doing enough so I started stretching for 10 min, jelqing for 5 min AND added some manual clamping while edging. I have to say that manual clamping is something I already did a lot before starting PE because.. Well, it feels good. I don’t think that clamping in itself caused the injury, but the combination of doubling stretching and jelqing time AND adding manual clamping. The injury haven’t occurred right after my first session of clamping, I don’t remember how many I did before the injury occurred (if injury it is).

But then 1 day I just felt a strange feeling in my penis. It came and went several times a day. It was not pain, just sort of discomfort. It’s hard to describe. Now I’m wondering whether it’s really an injury or just a long “soreness”.. At first, even if it was not hurting, I just freaked out for 2-3 days. But I felt that the discomfort was slowly decreasing and that it occurred just a few times a day (mostly in the evening). I still feel it slightly sometimes, but it won’t last long in my opinion. For the 2 or 3 first days, I thought I wasn’t able to get a full erection, and I hadn’t morning woods anymore. But I think it was just psychological. Morning woods and 100% erections came back fast. It’s been one week now. I haven’t masturbated since, except 1 day “just to see if” I could have a nice erection. I don’t know if I should still wait before starting PE again, I think I will until that slight feeling is gone altogether..

When I’ll start again, I’ll do 5 min stretching and 5 min jelqing + edging for 2 months, then I’ll slowly increase, and add manual clamping in 3 months. But apart from manual clamping I don’t want to do any “veteran’s exercise” at all, even in 6 months, just keep it soft. If it works, great ; if not, it doesn’t matter that much. ;)

I mostly hope length gains, something like 1 inch for the moment. Girth : I don’t want to gain too much, 0,5 inch at most ! My real objective is : not getting disappointed if I don’t see any change (which was the cause of my injury) in the next 2 months, and not measuring too often.

Starting stats (15/07/2017) :

BPEL : +/- 6,8 inches
EG mid shaft : +/- 5,4 inches

I think you make the right decision: go smooth and remain at basic manual exercises.

Just as a hint: keeep the routine stable in its actual state and go for a 1on/2off frequency for the next 4 weeks, then eventually go for a 2on/2off, then 3on/2off until a 5/2 frequency in monthly steps. Like this, you gradually find out what the best frequency is.

By having 2 consecutive rest days, your dick has enough recovery days for healing and growth. The routine intensity (nbr of stretches and jelqs) can be modified after you foound out the ideal frequency. But that will be only in a couple of months.

Today, I haven’t felt any discomfort. I think the injury has almost completely healed. As if posting my first message in the forum was the cure.

Today I started PE again as I haven’t felt any discomfort anymore for 1-2 days.

10 mins edging as a warm-up
5 mins stretching
100 jelqs (3 secs)
50 kegels (3 secs)
30 mins edging as a warm-down

Before each jelq I use to do 1 kegel, I don’t know why but it seems more efficient.
Now I’ll have 2 days rest.

Also, I measured my BPSFL (before PEing): +/- 7 inches
BPNSFL: +/- 4,3 inches

Tonight:
5 mins stretching
100 jelqs
50 kegels
20 mins edging

I’m going to measure BPFSL on a regular basis as it often seems to be a good indicator of future growth

I was wondering about jelqing: how engorged should be the glans at the end of each jelq? As much as when 100% erect/more/less?
Today I had the impression I was doing it better. The glans was about the same size as when nicely erect but not as hard. I take approximately 5 sec for each jelq as I prefer to do it slower in order to get it right.

Seeing as you’re just starting, I won’t go above 70% erect with jelqing. It gets intense when you jelq at high erection levels and you need you dick to be conditioned to handle that before you try it. Take it easy and don’t pick up an injury.

Hello Pleasingthewife!

I’m not jelqing above 70%. When we jelq, even when not 100% erect, the penis gets engorged as the hand goes upward, and I just want to know how engorged should the glans be at the end of each jelq. I thought that could be an indicator whether I’m doing it right. Don’t know if my question is clear.

Well the more the better as long as it doesn’t hurt or cause discoloration. Every person is different, so you would have to figure this one out for yourself. Just check you PI’s and trust them to tell you that you’re doing good or overworking it. Personally if my dick stays nice and engorged for about an hour after my routine, then I know its been a good session. And if it feels heavier the next day its also a great sign for me. But like I said, each person is different. So do what feels good and right and just listen to your body and dick. This will get easier as you become more experienced.

Had crazy erections these days, I didn’t know I could get as hard. It’s like having a 120% EQ!
I’m resisting the temptation to measure.

Oh, about discoloration: if it eventually happens try the Firegoat rolls. They do help against darkening.

Hello Richard!

Actually I’ve noticed 3 dark spots but I don’t know if it was there before, it’s on the underside. When I stretch the skin or when erect, it’s rather red as if there were a lot of blood vessels. Anyway, I’ve already tried those firegoat rolls a few times but I’ll do it more regularly.
