NEWBIE HANGING - Question
Hi guys,
I’ve been hanging for 2 hours per day for the last 3 months, and I haven’t seen any gains in length yet; however, my erect girth has increased by 0.25 inches. Hanging is supposed to be a lengthening exercise, so I’m a bit confused.
Is it normal to see no gains in length for the first 3 months?
I started slowly, and with only 2 pounds, as recommended in many of the other hanging threads, and I’m up to 7 pounds now. I perform 3 sets of 20 minutes each in the morning, and another 3 sets of 20 minutes each in the evening. I’ve been very dedicated and thorough with it, and I keep a log. I even wake up early just to hang. I know consistency is key, but when should I expect to see measurable gains? Thank you.
