Monthly Diatribe: Decent increase in BPEL but experienced an incredibly frustrating loss of girth although my flaccid hang just keeps getting better & fuller. I had some base girth increase with clamping earlier this year but with the gain uneven & on just one side of my dick, I felt I needed to curtail that. Instead, I’ve upped my jelqing from 10 to 15 minutes (at a high erection level) and added 25 minutes of edging to see if I can provoke some girth gains without going outside of using manual exercises. Seems girth is actually responding (from Mrs. QL’s response in the sack), although my tape sure hasn’t reported it yet. Sticking to my program as I come up on a scheduled 2 week decon break.

Porn: Usage not as rampant as past months but trying to curtail usage to zero as this is when everything (life, sex, PE) just flat works better.

Fitness: Fell off the wagon for a month and put 15 pounds of the 30 I’d lost back on. Now back down by 5 and if I just keep to what I know works I may be posting in the full body pic forum by year’s end.

Current PE Routine:
Frequency: Mo, Tu, Th, Fr (rest We, Sa, Su)
- 5 min warm-up
- 15 min jelqing prior to work
- At work: 5 sets of 2.5 min 12-point modified V-stretch breaks during restroom visits
- 5 minutes edging after each set of stretches
- Decon approach: PE for 6 weeks after which I take 2 weeks decon. Then review results and make adjustments.

Future: STILL looking for the inspiration and a window of opportunity/privacy to make Xeno’s ADS device Cock Coil ADS. Golf weights haven’t made a difference I can tell for sure, but never hurts to try something new.

My true starting stats are 5 inches Nbpel. I just wish that I wrote them down here when I first joined thunders years ago. I’m currently 6.25 nbpel and girth floats around 5.
I’m currently doing a extender combo/routine would love to get a solid 1/4 inch gain. I know i can do it because a few weeks back I had this raging 110% hard on. And I measured all most 6 1/2 nbpel. Since then I haven’t measured that stat but I feel that I’m getting closer with my routine.
QL keep the logs going your post are great motivation to keep chugging along with the extender.

After reading your whole log I see you battling porn addiction also. Going to check out your thread primer on sex addiction next. I would really like to kick my obsessive Porn addiction.

Yeah, psychologists and therapists have differing viewpoints but experientially, I have to side with those who say at certain levels it’s an addiction similar to gambling or drug addictions - same bag of neurochemicals at the end of all addictive rainbows albeit with different ratios but just as powerful & potentially lethal.

I can identify with the difficulty in dealing with the obsession and if you’re anything like me, a tremendous amount of energy can go into seeking out what’s going to get you off (be it porn or increasingly dangerous activities since so many thrills are based on risk) just to have to hide your activities depending on your situation. It’s a never-ending cycle that can be incredibly draining mentally & emotionally.

You have my empathy and encouragement that it’s worth fighting and while I’m not there, there are guys in my 12-step group that have had sobriety from acting out sexually for 10 and even 20 years. It’s the hardest work I’ve ever done but completely worth it based on the periods of freedom I’ve had from it.

There have been such low points in my porn addiction. That I couldn’t even get hard to have sex with my wife. I’ll never forget how she blamed her self and think I didn’t want her. Even putting her through that I’m still battling porn to this day.

You’re welcome and I can hear the frustration in your words. It’s an awful place when we feel trapped and/or controlled by elements of our sexuality. And it’s one thing to understand how porn/sex addiction works but quite another to actually get the upper hand. Not saying you’re a porn/sex addict, but from what you’ve shared I would guess you’re somewhere on the continuum more towards addiction than those that use porn only when they choose to.

Since this thing works at both the conscious and subconscious levels, it can be difficult to address exactly what’s going on. You have our enlightened culture saying we don’t even have a problem - it’s an “itch” that is totally fine to scratch and it may indeed be fine for some. If so, they’re fortunate I suppose but when you can’t stop a behaviour you desperately want to halt, that’s pretty damn miserable.

I’ve been to the same place with my wife where she thought it was her because she was offering herself and I was a useless limp biscuit that couldn’t get it up if my life depended on it. Hearing her cry because she felt rejection was depressing and piled on more shame (which is a huge driver of porn/sex addiction but that’s another thread). So what do you do when nothing else has worked, right? For me, the solution is a multi-faceted effort.

Counselers can help because they can help you get at the pain and/or shame and/or dysfunction that may be driving you to self-medicate if that’s indeed what’s happening. Reading well-informed books (and by that I mean books by guys who have been porn/sex addicts and have helped others to get free) are good places to get help as well. Check out stuff by Mark Laaser or Patrick Carnes who are spiritual in their approach but not too preachy and both have great insights into how to successfully move forward.

SAA meetings where you can listen to other guys talk about similar struggles and how they handled it, are another way to take this on when nothing else is working. Sometimes a suggestion/observation they offer is helpful but just as helpful, is learning that tons of guys are in the same or worse place and have found help along the way. Granted, walking through recovery with an SAA group (i.e. working the 12 steps) hasn’t “cured” me, but each year I’m at a better place than I was the year before.

You can whip this problem but it will take time (possibly a lot) and effort (also possibly a lot if you’ve not been able to stop yourself by sheer willpower already). The fact that you want change, is half the battle. Just don’t quit and don’t beat yourself up as you try to make changes - this can be a helluva challenge. Do try at least one of the things I’ve mentioned above. I can tell you that many tens of millions of men are walking thru the same mess - you’re not alone my friend.

Thanks for the encouragement and definitely there’s a lot in progress - perhaps too much as the bottom seems to fall out of one area or another when the apple cart gets jostled too much - seeking balance in all things.

I’ve been really fortunate with slow, steady progress and am trying to keep the golden goose producing without killing it. I’m overdue to give what’s become a quarterly update, but even with no active PE for several months, I’ve still seen noticed some length growth (no doubt the outworking of my prior routine). That’s cool and all but I’m quite comfortable with my present length and don’t want to get to the point where I can’t vigorously go balls deep with Mrs. QL and it seems like I’m right at the edge of that,… so I’m treading carefully (may have to leave my stretches off which have been the devastatingly effective exercise for me).

As you are a fellow girth seeker, one of he best manuals I’ve heard about (and understand I’m trying to stay away from devices as long as I possibly can), is gprent’s girth blasters. Have you tried these? Seems like they could be effective and indeed just in several times of trying them (still getting the hang), I think they’ll be effective due to the substantial amount of radial pressures it seems one can bring to bear within one’s cock - almost too much.

Even though I tend to orbit in and out of the thundersphere, I always enjoy your threads & posts when surfing the vicinity. Good luck with all your efforts!

Periodic Diatribe: Took several months off since my gains had halted and allowed myself to forget about PE for awhile. Interestingly, nothing changed except my BPSFL had increased to 7.500, (when I had stopped it was 7.125). Similarly with no effort on my part, my body had rebalanced my dick’s uneven base girth that came about when I tried clamping last year. The result is a symmetrical dick once again - thankful since hard-ons were looking a bit strange at the base.

PE: I’m trying to stay away from devices as long as I can because I’m still in stealth mode and I have little time to devote to this hobby. So with it feeling like I’ve only scratched the surface with manual exercises AND after letting thoughts about IPR permeate my thoughts, for the entirety of 2019 I think I’m going to use a version of this approach over 4 quarterly cycles of 13 weeks each (giving 52 weeks). I may change exercises and/or durations but I’m holding firmly to the following plan:

- 3 weeks of PE (1 day on, 2 days off)
- 10 weeks of no PE (except light ADS a la Xeno’s Cock Coil)

PE Routine:
Before work
- 5 min warm-up
- 1 set of 12-point modified V-stretches
- 8-15 min jelqing (gprent’s girth blasters version to target girth)
- 5 min warm-down

At work
- 4 sets of 12-point modified V-stretches

After work
- Duplicate morning routine exactly

During each cycle I’ll have just 7 days of PE for a total of 28 total days this year. Obviously a small amount of I-phase work as it were, which begs the question, can this possibly even work? One year ago, I would’ve said this was crazy but I’ve come to believe (based on ideas from Xeno, Shiver and some members that have applied Physical Therapy concepts to PE), that for some, less PE done precisely & intensely, can yield results - specifically, when you’re past those newbie gains and nothing short of devices or devoting large tracts of time seems to be able to provoke growth. Time will tell and I’ll continue to document results here.

Current PE Goals:
- EG: 5.000 - I’ll remain in the game until at minimum I hit this goal and beyond if Mrs. QL is responding appreciatively.
- NBPEL: 7.000 - pretty content with current length and don’t want to overdo as I feel I may be getting close to the Mrs.’ limit.

Porn: Was remarkably able to stop using porn cold turkey 1 January and feel a little better already (I could finish inside my wife last night for the first time in months without my erection dying - just awesome). I’ve attempted no-porn/no-fap countless times, so I know the journey will cyclically get harder & easier as the days & months tick by, but I’ve also learned a few more tricks lately that SA hadn’t taught me (at least in a way that they practically took root - props to the guys at the nofap website). This means edging is out (because I had to have porn to get hard) but edging gave me no girth gains, so no great loss there.

Fitness: Fell off the friggin’ bandwagon as the Holidays hit with goodies & unhealthy shit everywhere. Was juggling too much and couldn’t maintain it but I just started my work-out regimen back up s-l-o-w-l-y so as not to place more demand on myself than I can handle. I have all the info I need and I know what works for me so the last (weak) link in the chain is the ability to nail this thing down as a habit that cannot be unnailed. Neither fear of death, nor visualising my nascent six-pack, nor the promise of better sex, yea nothing has helped me do this yet, so if you have something to share - maybe something that worked for you - I’m open!
