The answer won’t be definitive because penile and pelvic issues are difficult to diagnose, and if he wanted even a little better of an answer he would need to get at least a doppler. Should he pay out of pocket for that too? Or he could simply wait a few months and do it for free.

If going to the doctor sooner meant the difference between a successful outcome or not it would be one thing, but they can only give pills, injections or an implant anyway. It would be potentially over a thousand dollars to get a prescription for Viagra a few months sooner.
