I don’t mean to burden you with unsolicited advice, and I understand how this may come across as mumbo jumbo but Vipassana meditation may be a very helpful thing for you. The nature of the self and particularly the body as permanent ceaseless change, arising and passing away, and that we always have the means to do away with our aversion to our pain. Good luck to you, brother.

This was the saddest thing I read in a while.
I think every guy who practices PE must read through this thread tp fully understand the importance of being cautious with your dick and taking things slow.

Hope everything is fine with OP.

Awful. But transplant can still be a hope! Is transplanted penis able to get erect? Any updates from the guy?

Something helpful for OP. Only way to survive this is through stoicism.

I know this is an old thread and I’m not even sure if this guy is around anymore, but I found a study that may be of huge interest. They were actually able to almost fully regenerate frog limbs just by using wearable bioreactors that contained progesterone.

A Progesterone-Pumping Device Helps Frogs Regenerate Lost Limbs | NOVA | PBS

It is currently unknown how effective this therapy would be in humans, but it seems like something pretty feasible considering the experimental model they used were adult frogs normally incapable of regeneration. Also, the genitals and limbs have almost exactly the same developmental origins, so it would be likely that regeneration to some degree would be possible of the external genitals if the proper set of cellular signaling and conditions to initiate regeneration were in place. If a complex structure such as a limb was regenerated by this therapy, I don’t see why a simpler structure such as a penis can’t.

I’ll have to study this further. I’m wondering if it’s possible to induce regeneration of the penis, or at least the external genitals to some extent, with progesterone and a minor injury. Even if a small penis-like structure regenerated, it would be far better than having absolutely nothing.

It seems any real ability to regenerate limbs is far off according to this article. My opinion is, we need AI to solve the problem of regrowing limbs and quantum computing is essential for us to get there.

There would have to be a complex mixture of an array of compounds to signal something like a limb to regenerate in humans. I don’t think a penis is a simple structure considering how specialized its function is and all the nerve bundles it contains. There is absolutely no substitute besides another penis imo. To suggest anything else is extremely upsetting but maybe I’m missing your point. You did mention that having a big stump is better than having no stump, or less stump.

The scientists in the experiment put the progesterone containing device on the injured area, three hours after the initial amputation, so it makes you question if it can regrow a limb that was amputated several years ago. It seems any chemical therapy to regrow limbs would have to react synergistically with complex biochemical reactions involved in a newly injured area that involves amputation. You may be able to re-create the injury conditions but you have to consider that it may not release the proper chemical cues, since the area is mostly scar tissue now.

I’m going to assume I missed your point mostly because this makes no sense to me right now unless you think this could help the area heal better and be less painful. I think that’s the best outcome for something like this honestly. To regrow a penis is science fiction. Out of everything, I think having a penis transplant from a cadaver donor is very promising considering that it has been successfully done.

I’ve came to live life without a penis, they can use a donated penis but the time and cost plus the availability is great. Match and then having body not want to reject is great factor as well.

Numbness you said that they rerouted your urethra behind your scrotum. How has that worked for you? Have you suffered from urinary incontinence or any infections?

Hey Numbness, it’s been 4 years since I read your story, not to sound weird but you have crossed my mind from time to time over the years. I hope you’re doing well, I really do. How is your life at the moment, disregarding the accident, are you living the other parts of life to the fullest? What have you been up to, what have you achieved in the years since?

I’ve had a couple UTI but the key is keeping fresh dry and clean. No incontinence thank the Lord.

I’m glad that the worst you’ve had are a few UTIs. Are you still on testosterone blockers? I’m asking because I’d imagine if you aren’t you must have had a wet dream of some kind by now without having a sexual outlet. If you are on the blockers what changes have you felt overall in different aspects of your life and/or mindset? I apologize if these questions are too personal I’m just wondering how the effects are on a guy taking these by life circumstances and not by personal decision. As with all of us I’m glad to hear from you and hope you are doing well.

Kind words

Hey numbness,
I’m a long time lurker but your thread touched me so much that I wanted to reply.

First thing that I want to say is how strong and courageous you are. I don’t think all of this was your fault. You didn’t know, you just wanted to please your girl like we all do. That could have happened to other uninformed newbie. You suffered psychological pain few of us would able to bear (myself included) and yet you’re still working and living your life. You are living on hard mode, you have my utter respect.

We should organize a leetchy or something to get money for you so that you can get a transplant or just to ease your life a little.

Would you be down for this ? If yes, I can try to set it up for you as well as opening thread on various other forum like pegym, mos, lpsg, and reddit where I’m sure your story will inspire others and encourage them to donate. I’m personally ready to donate, I’m sure a lot of others will be too (even if it’s only a few bucks).

Anyone else would like to help ?

Sure flaxis.

I think of OP and truly believe there is a lot for him to enjoy in this life and touching upon what some above have talked about it can be an experience to go deeper than most of us do. There are celibate mystics in various traditions that experienced deep states of consciousness. St Maximilian Kolbe of Auschwitz touched many peoples lives with his aura of peace and holiness - he ultimately gave up his life for a guy he didn’t know by taking his place to die in an underground starvation chamber with no light, food or water. I think finding the spiritual path and faith that feels right and true will be very rewarding. There is nothing better than experiencing true peace and serenity. Addressing physical health and reducing toxicity can be a big help too in clearing the mind to see things truly.
