Hey Owen33,
Just want to clarify, I am a pre-med student still in undergraduate college for my third year. I am hardly qualified to make any real medical opinions. So while I do have access to doctors every now and then when I shadow them, I don’t take the opportunity to ask the neurosurgeon or cardiologist I’m shadowing about penis indentations..
I think what you are saying is exactly true, but remember, fibrosis in the penis is the definition of Peyroines. Peyroines, like what you’ve mentioned above, have been reported to heal overtime in many patients, but as many as there are healing stories, there are stories of people who have lived with the symptoms for decades. So this leftover fibrosis is what we’re trying to get rid of, and the best way to do that is through the same methods people are using to treat Peyroines. We are lucky enough to not have the curve and the pain, thank god. But there are definitely cases in which a fibrosis plaque can cause the pinching of a nerve or the blocking of vessels, which could be causing our symptoms of disconnectedness and reduced blood flow.
About collagen by the way.. Just to clarify, I think it’s the same theory. Collagen build up is what is referred to as fibrosis. So really we’re talking about the same thing.
Maybe in a year or two when I’m a resident (hopefully.) I can shed some better light on our symptoms.
Also, ironaddict, does it make your penis look like an hourglass? Cause if so, I think we got the same thing.
