Firm flaccid penis

Have you done a corpus cavernosogram?

But he didn’t. Hence the confusion. Hence it can’t be helpful to post where people are trying to figure stuff out about injuries.

Where did he mention that he did not injure his penis? I just read he didn’t do any PE, but if he did mention that he did not injure himself then I agree with you his post should be in another section.

When you are on a PE forum and in the injuries section it is a given that you injured yourself through PE.

Either way, however, it’s unimportant, the point is that a thread should be for one thing and not a million things that might be vaguely related. If the majority of people are posting about their PE related injury, in this case a firm flacid, then that is what the thread should be about. Not about someone that didn’t do PE to cause the injury.

As I said before this has two detrimental effects: 1, People think there are more PE related injuries than there are, 2. If the cause or the reason for something is different to what others are discussing, how can you find help? It is illogical.

However, contributing in general to the thread might be okay as long as the topic isn’t: “What about me? I did x to my dick? Not PE but the result is possibly the same but obviously not the cause. Can you diagnose and help me?” No. That effectively derails the thread and, as stated, leads to people suspecting that there are more PE injuries than there are, and potentially worse than that, that these problems do not have a simple cure.

Well, the thread is about ‘Firm flaccid’ and the OP didn’t get that doing PE. I think as long they have similar symptoms and could have the same kind of pathology it is ok to post here. I’m not sure having 100 threads about ‘firm flaccid’ is better than a one, big and a bit confused thread. And there are (active) mods for these issues, anyway :)

I appreciate what you mean Marinera but I am getting so fed up with a kind of hysteria that seems to be going around. I see the mods and others going out of their way to really help people and it seems all of that work gets undone when you have billions of people saying “Me too!” “Me too!”. Especially when, actually, it isn’t “Me too” because what caused your injury isn’t related to PE and maybe you don’t have an injury at all. Maybe once a few people are threaded out into different threads then things will die down. It seems we have a kind of ‘pecking party’ going on here. However, now that one very ‘anxious’ poster has left the building things will seem a bit more relaxed.

I also must admit that I didn’t see the OP didn’t injure himself through PE!! Damn! That invalidates half of my logical points!! :D I hate being wrong!!

Haha, everybody hate. The other half was pretty much right and I also think that there is a good amount of spreading suggestion about injuries. Or, to speak scholarly, cyberchondria
http://en.wikip … i/Cyberchondria

The problem is the more one try to convince people that maybe their condition is partly due to suggestion the worse is the outcome. I’m begin wondering if saying to all of them ‘Right, you have broken your penis and it is lifelong’ couldn’t magicaly cure half of them. :)

I am really not too sure what to say. I apologize as I am not good with words. I do agree that “cyberchindria” might be going on for some of us. When Owen was posting here months ago we seemed to be moving along in good order, but his FF symptoms went away and he with them. These days it seems like the Firm Flaccid thread is unfortunately going nowhere.

I feel that this thread has lost much usefulness, however it is an area where we can meet, hoping that some day, someone finds a cure or anything to help.

I know this is a real condition, I hope everyone here is being completely real with themselves and actually has this condition. There is nothing more I want right now than to have a functioning, normal penis. I am only 19, and am stuck in an area where I cannot get medical help financially, and even if I did it seems like everyone that has been to a urologist has had no help.

It just bothers me when I see this thread get negative attention, as for hopefully most of us, this is real and a huge problem for us.

I feel that I did get this condition from PE, and I take 100% responsibility for my injury or whatever this is.

On another note, Hyperlite if you could please post some things that did in your therapy or anything that we could do to test the tense pelic region theory.

In contrast, straddling a bike saddle forces the rider to bear the body weight on the perineum (hidden part of the penis). Compression of the perineum may lead to permanent nerve and artery damage, leading to numbness and sexual function, such as loss of erections. To avoid injury to the perineum while riding, it is recommended to use a noseless two-cheek split seat. If sexual dysfunction occurs following riding, a full evaluation is indicated. “

So unless you ride a bike this can be ruled out too =\

Actually you’re wrong. Many people that develop problems with their Pudendal nerve do so because of extended periods of sitting. Whether at work or at home on the computer. Periods of prolonged sitting on anything is not good. My penis and testicles had a “buzzing” sensation for months. It all started the day I sat at my computer for about 6-8 straight hours. I finally healed myself by taking 5000 mg’s of Methyl B12 and 1000 mg’s Benfotiamine (B1) per day. I also changed my sitting habits as to avoid too much pressure on the area. It took months to heal but it is possible.

I was not referring to any specific poster; just trying to explain that, for people that is trying to help, understanding what is going on is harder because there are many factors involved.

I missed that Owen has healed for this condition; when it happened? How?

He seemingly broke off in all aspects to me. He may have been posting in other threads but I haven’t had time to look around. The last thing I heard was that his FF was gone, however he was still having poor erection quality. I think he was ex

I’ll check it out tomorrow when I have time available.

Do you have a source for this?

For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

My doc actually told me that. He also said that some people are more susceptible than others to develop Pudendal problems because the nerve route can vary from person to person.

I’m on my butt for quite a bit of the day, while I work. I have a small grounds maintenance business and I work by myself. That said, I spend a lot of time riding my mower. The seat is padded and very comfortable but it still hurts my butt if I sit too long.

The day I actually noticed my problem was after a prolonged sitting at my computer. I believe the sitting at work and then coming home and sitting at the computer really did me in :)

A quick google of Pudendal nerve compression yielded lots of results. Here’s a pretty good one:

http://www.tipn … ymptomsInfo.htm

^^ Good link:
“Extended sitting at work and frequent long drives are among the causes of pudendal nerve compression. In younger people, sports involving the legs like heavy weight lifting, running and – most of all - cycling are the leading risk factor for the development of this condition.

Sympytoms
..
Male sexual problems: some men complain of a diminution of sensations. Impotence is possible.”

What Goldstein means is that there are low chance to develope this problem simply sitting while the chances are high with bicylcing, not that it is ‘impossible’ to have this syndrome while sitting. Sounds obvious to me.
