The really complicated nerve compression surgeries for the pudendal nerve are if the nerve is entrapped somewhere like the alcock canal. I agree with you completely that this type of decompression surgery is not worth the risk. However, if our problem is at the base of the penis the pudendal nerve should be easily accessible and hopefully can be decompressed.
