Internal Pelvic Floor Massage HF?

Internal Pelvic Floor Massage HF?

Hello guys, sorry for the long title.

So today I was doing research on how to cure my hard flaccid and stumbled across chronic pelvic pain syndrome. This is supposedly a cause of hard flaccid.

So I found out that a treatment for this is triggerpoint release in the rectum. So I searched further and found out that there were people actually fixing hard flaccid by doing this.

So I have several questions on this, and would appreciate it very much if people with further insight/experience reply to this.

1. Are you supposed to relax your anus while putting pressure on the triggerpoints? I only notice the pain/tenderness when I put pressure on the triggerpoints and have my anus relaxed.

2. Does the Therawand have great benefits over doing it with your own hands? I just don’t see the purpose of buying a 40$ piece of equipment if it can be done with my hands.

3. What triggerpoints did/do you feel the most? I personally feel 5:00 and 7:00 the most. Does this state anything in particular?

4. What should be felt afterwards? I just did it for the first time and my anus cramped up afterwards.

5. Are there any other ways to target the triggerpoints of the pelvic floor? I read something putting a tennisball on the area between your balls and anus and then sitting on it.

Anyone?

7 inch BPEL and 4.4 inch MSEG as of the 16th of may 2018.

Please?

I’m curious about this as well but don’t have an answer for you.

You suffer from hard flaccid as well?

I have the therawand and i didn’t find it particularly useful. Internal massage with fingers wasn’t particularly useful either.

Do you suffer from HF as well? If so, what are the symptoms next to the hard flaccid state itself? Because I suffer from pains in the penis which I relate to it.

I’m also planning onto doing a water fast in hope to cure it, it just doesn’t seem to be getting any better as it is now.

I have a lot of experience with Acupressure and Travell’s Trigger Point theory, although not specifically in the treatment of HF or CPPS, but working on general principles I’ll answer your questions as best I can.

1. Yes, relax as much as possible.

2. I don’t know what a Therawand is and am not going to Google it - nothing is as good as your hands. Gadgets are available because hands get tired.

3. Your question means nothing unless we know exactly what protocol you are following. What are 5.00 and 7.00? unless we have the same chart etc. in front of us as you do, we cannot know what you are asking.

4. Sometimes tissues can feel a little bruised for a day or two after a first session, although ideally they shouldn’t. The whole area should feel far more ‘open’ and relaxed. If your anus cramped you were either presssing much too hard, or you were applying force/pressure too quickly or releasing pressure too quickly. You should build and release the pressure very slowly.

5. Hands are best, but anything that can place pressure on an area in a controlled way can be used.

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

Thank you very much for your answer. By 5.00 and 7.00 I mean the following: see your anus as a clock, and the direction at which you apply the pressure resembles the hour. I personally feel the knots at 5:00 and 7:00.

Re: Original

I’m a neuromuscular therapist. Although I don’t have a ton of experience with treating pelvic floor dysfunction directly, I have had some, in addition to having treated it indirectly. I also have quite a bit of experience treating various clinical conditions with trigger point therapy.

Direct treatment: you can perform this internally, as you are already doing. To endorse the previous comment regarding trigger point treatment, yes you need to relax. Then, find the sensitive points and apply enough pressure that it causes you pain, but not enough so that you cannot relax through it. There is a line there that you need to find for yourself.
So, as you apply pressure and find your limit, hold it there for several seconds and then release the pressure just the slightest amount. If you pay attention, you will feel the tissue relax. It may take several times doing this, but at some point you will be able to increase your pressure while maintaining the same level of pain/relaxation. Now you know you’re making progress. Repeat until all pain is gone, or you feel as though you are starting to aggravate it. If you cramp up again, then just massage the area in whatever way feels relaxing, but do it very gently. Heat application may help this, as well. Anyway, this could alleviate the cramping. Question: do you tend to cramp, in general?
You should also be addressing your pelvic floor externally. Locate the bony periphery or outline of your perineum. All that soft tissue needs to be palpated for pain, making sure to touch along the inside edges of the pubic rami, too. If you have some at any point, follow the above instructions at these points.

Indirect treatment: if you have pelvic floor dysfunction, a cause could be hip misalignment. When the hips aren’t in alignment, the muscles that attach to them will either stretch or contract in ways they aren’t supposed to; their orientation to the bones to which they attach changes, which can cause pain. I would recommend ruling this out as a potential cause. If you have a chiropractor you trust, then use him/her, but, in my experience, most hip misalignments are not caused by SI joint issues, which is what a chiro will address. The condition is usually caused by improper postural issues augmented over time. Anyway, seek out a chiro, neuromuscular therapist, a massage therapist with experience with this sort of thing, an osteopath, PT, etc. Do you experience any low back pain?

I hope this helps.

Bump.
