I told the doctor I squeezed too hard and suddenly lost the erection. Which is what happened. I would be worry free if I was seeing signs of improvement, but absolutely no erections except the one in the mornings. How long did it take you to get an erection (besides morning)

Weeks. My wife and I understood what we were getting into, do you? Your worries? Give this some time. Your worries are going to hinder erections.
A lot of times, erection problems are all in the head.

So do you think the posts I’ve read about people never healing is because they didn’t let their penis recover? I hate the fact people, including the doctor say its in my head. I think if porn isn’t working then its not in my head. The fact that the doc said my penis is fine and the uti has nothing to do with it scares me. Are you sure there is no blood in the urine when there is a venous leak? Everyones input is so helpful. Thank all of you even though doc said lay off the scary internet.

I think you strike a lot of us in this thread as being an anxious person. It’s not a terribly bad thing. Often people more prone to anxiety are also more tuned in to their surroundings and often more understanding and empathetic people. Being that in touch can also have a downside. It goes back to life on the Savannah at the dawn of humanity. The guys who observed the grass moving and assumed snake, carried on living and the guys who assumed wind, died. A lot of this kind of stuff has to do with when that fight or flight mechanism kicks in for different people and anxiety is just the early stages of this mechanism. The trouble with it is that in this multi input world it’s easy to hit something that might kick it off, it’s easy to gain things to worry about and often difficult to gain perspective.

Worrying is another aspect of this. Right now you are worried about your penis but do you spend your time worrying about other things? What worries did you have before this? You have no previous experience of this problem and even here there are horror stories to find. The thing is, if you look for that worse case scenario, if you believe it enough your mind is quite capable of making certainly this symptom a reality. That phrase “it’s in your head” it’s kind of belittling, like all you have to do is pull yourself together and you’ll be OK. It’s not that simple but that doesn’t make it less true.

True, but to put it in perspective, after all these years, there are only 37 pages in the injury forum, and very few of them are to do with jelqing injuries or anything major.

Most are ‘red spots’, temporarily inflamed veins/lymphatic vessels or similar. Although people who seem to have an injury, especially one that causes ED, often quote that there are ‘hundreds’ of people with similar problems, I can barely think of anyone who has had a genuine long-term injury.

There are a few whose stories do not remain consistent and seem to change when attention on them wanes, or who, after many posts, accept that their on-going ED is probably related to prescription anti-depressants, marijuana use or similar factors.

Of course, there are almost certainly a lot of injuries that never get a thread made about them - I like most other vets have had several times when I’ve not been able to muster an erection for a few days or occasionally a week or more, but I understand that I’ve picked up a minor injury through my own ‘excess enthusiasm’ which will go away, so I don’t worry. I guess I have the advantage of working with soft tissue injuries as my daily work, but I know many other veteran PEers have shrugged their shoulders at an injury, taken time off, then got on with it without reporting anything.

As I’ve said to many guys before, until a week has passed, don’t even start to consider it an injury. If there is no improvement at all after a week or more, then it’s time to look into it a bit more. If there is any improvement it will almost certainly continue, and there is no problem worth thinking about - it’s the equivalent of a grazed knee or a stubbed toe - it happens but isn’t worth thinking about.

So far so good except this tract infection making me pee ever minute. I hope that when I am free of this uti my penis will be working fine. I am again getting erections but avoiding any force as I am still cautious. As for jelqing, I will never again. I don’t care if it does work, the consequences overshadow the possible injury tremendously in my book.

Try stretching and kegels, they increase EQ. You might find you get gains just from that

IF I ever do get back 100% and stay there I am happy with what I got, just about 6” but pretty thick. If there’s anything I learned from this its that I shouldn’t take things for granted or push for more when I already have more than a lot of people. My dick would have to be 3” for me to ever have the drive to jelq again. You would have to be some jackass to jelq after an injury like mine.

Yeah I get it dude, read my post again. A kegel is not a dick exercise, it is simple flexing the muscle under your balls and holding it. And light stretching is far from a jelq in terms risk. I just put this out there as these are the 2 activities id recommend to anyone wanting to improve ‘penis health’ it will increase bloodflow and just generally give a better quality erection without putting any stress on penile tissue. I can understand your worriedness, but no need to bite my head off.

Czep I know what a kegel is and that would be another absolutely horrible idea, considering after the The injury my pelvic floor was so tight I needed a heating pad most of the day. Kegels would have made it worse.

I am now getting erections easier than ever and it definately is bigger for some reason. This could just be from lack of ejaculation even though I have ejaculated twice veryyyy gently, barely touching myself. If this is true I will abstain for long periods of time more often because if a girl saw my penis right now they, like I am, would be very impressed. I hope this doesnt go away And isnt a part of the healing. Even my flaccid is bigger. Its almost like I’m constantly semi erect, and ready to go at all times. Any thoughts anyone? Have I experienced a lig pop ? Because I didnt hear any pop.
