DHT grows your penis?

With a rigid ruler handy, standing straight up or kneeling, get a full erection. Lay the ruler along the top of your penis, and press the end of the ruler firmly against your body (where the pubic hair is). Hold your penis against the ruler with your hand, straighten out as much as possible any curvature that may exist, and try to hold your penis so that it’s sticking straight out from your body. Then determine the ruler reading at the very end of your penis and round off to the nearest quarter-inch. If your ruler has centimeters only, calculate the number of corresponding inches (1 inch = 2.54 cm) and write it down.

Blood transfusions wouldn’t work as it’s not the chemicals in the blood stream that are necessarily causing enlargement. You need to activate the ARs in the penile tissue to induce growth but no one is sure how this is done as of yet.

As for DHT you can buy it as it’s used to treat gyno though not very effectively. There’s a localized cream that’s readily available and would be your best bet. DHT can increase male pattern baldness especially if you are prone to it. It can also cause prostate hyperplasia so be careful.

Not sure if I would ever give it to my son but it would probably work.

Not in the USA. Not yet. Andractim is a topical DHT cream made in Belgium and available in Europe.

Back to the topic. During puberty, DHT plus the other right “ingredients” are what cause a boys gonads to grow. DHT is also what is release in the placenta for a fetus to become “male”, because like it or not, we all start out female.

I’d like to see a poll: If you knew that you could take DHT for 6 months, and your penis size would increase by 1” length and .5” girth, but you would become completely bald for the rest of your life, would you do it?

I suspect that we would be seeing a lot of shiny heads walking around.

There are quite a few threads on this topic. If you are really interested in DHT, you should read Kevin Pezzi’s books, The Science of Sex and Advanced Enlargement. I have not tried his methods and therefore do not endorse them but those books are a good place for a lay person to start when learning about the subject.

I recently read an updated version of Dr. Pezzi’s book, “the science of sex” and he removed the part about cycling with finasteride and then dht to grow the penis. But now he is selling a book on penis enlargement so its probably in there, I didn’t buy it. It seemed expensive at the time.

I liked SOS but I was disappointed with Advanced Enlargement. I don’t think that AE is much more than the DHT/Fin chapter of SOS. The concept is to up-regulate the penile Androgen Receptors with Fin and then to simply go off of it or to go off of it and to topically apply DHT.

PS Wow, you bought Advanced Enlargement?, money to burn baby. No seriously, did you learn anything above and beyond the treasure trove of Thunder’s Place?

No, I am not wealthy. Far from it. I liked The Science of Sex so I thought that AE might also be good.

Thunder’s is without a doubt the best thing that has ever happened to PE but I don’t think that we have all of the answers yet. I have not tried the Fin. method so I can’t say if it is effective or not.

Penismith I recall from the <a href=”/forum/showthread.php?t=35945”>Why gains slow!”</a> that you were hoping to find insight into why exactly the penis stops growing after puberty. The thread seemed to venture away from that topic though. Did you ever get a better idea of why it is that post-puberty a penis will not grow from the same things as it does before?

This is not an easy question to answer. All sorts of things are dislodging from my memory as I try to construct this response. The sort answer, no. The long answer is that I have picked up more clues here and there but I don’t know how much of the picture I have and which parts are correct.

Fin increases AR, never heard of that before. It might resensitize them but I still don’t even bu ythat theory. Do you have any studies or info on how it upregulates AR?
