This is a study that deals with patients having hypospadias and “small penis,” whatever the hell that is. That isn’t a term commonly found in medical literature.
So, on to the study. What age were the subjects? The abstract doesn’t say. Oh, wait. Here’s a clue: “Two patients of group A went on to have pubic hair…” Well, I guess that settles the age question.
Study #2 you mention is: Steroid 17-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase deficiency in man: An inherited form of male pseudohermaphroditism, The Journal of Steroid Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Volume 43, Issue 8, December 1992, Pages 989-1002:
Do you have a link to this? The closest thing I found is:
Science. 1974 Dec 27;186(4170):1213-5.
Steroid 5alpha-reductase deficiency in man: an inherited form of male pseudohermaphroditism.

I’m tired, and perhaps not using the correct search terms. I’d appreciate a direct link to the abstract.
