Heres the thing dopamine and serotonin no matter what bullshit they tell you are inversely related however it is important to maintain a healthy balance with the two. I have long suspected that since taking ssri’s forced on me by my parents that balance has tipped into the serotonin. I was severely depressed on the meds but my folks didnt care they needed to feel like they were helping me rather than actually helping me I felt like the world became grey and void of emotion funny thing is I was actually really happy before the meds it’s just my folks and I didnt see eye to eye on alot of things IE my current situation. I have since stopped but I still feel lethargic emotionless and it killed my libido drastically from masturbating 5 times a day before I was on drugs to once a week. MY question is does omega 3 increase dopamine and decrease serotonin or does it do the opposite. Also what role could caffeine play IE redbull in helpin with dopamine. And lastly I’m going to try to convince my doctor that I should take dopamine agonists what would anyone recommend there are alot of them.
