Thanks again Dino. I’ll look into this. Do you notice any sides from the topical finasteride?

Nope, I think so little gets into your blood stream that it can’t cause issues.

Orion,

I’ve used propecia for almost 10 years and it’s worked the absolute best for keeping my hair. One of the side effects for me has been more watery semen and a lesser amount, but that could also be due to aging 10 years during that time. I’m 57 years old now. I have had NO change in my libido though, I’m horny all of the time and ready to go.

I don’t think so, but I have noticed I cum more volume when off

I’m back to the gym tomorrow unless somebody steals my time as usual and I will let you guys know how the weight lost goes while off again.

Thanks for the feedback guys, how about random erections do you still get them on propecia?

I have noticed that mine are starting to go away, might be because my body is adjusting to propecia, but I’m a little worried about it none the less.

Any thoughts on this?

I have only been on propecia for 9 days.

The first two months on Propecia it killed my sex drive and night wood and I was going to quit but than it got mostly better but never 100% closer to 80/90%. Now that I’m off I’m getting non stop diamond hard night wood.

I never had any change in my libido or erection frequency while using propecia, but every one is different. You just need to monitor your own reactions and adapt as necessary.

What kind of change did propecia provide for your hair, maintenance or even some regrowth?, or the feeling that you have a thicker head of hair?

The hairline is a pain to treat. Did you order the Xandrox yet? If so, what type did you order? I am not a big fan of Xandrox per se because it is basically Minoxidil with azeleic acid something Dr. Lee claims reduces DHT (and although I love his products, Az acid does NOT reduce DHT)

You would be better off with good old minox. If you are ordering Xandrox 15 then it might be more worthwhile, simply because it has a high concentration of minox, but be warned, the stuff is very sticky and nasty and should only be applied at night.

From years of studying hairloss treatments i would say one product that seems to get the most favorable reviews for the hairline is minoxidil w/retin-a. This can be bought by Dr. Lee in a pre-mixed solution but a few things first:

1) Yes, you’ll need to pay a $20 consult. fee
2) Retin-A can be harsh so EASE into it. Use it once one week. Twice the next etc. while keeping up with regular minox treatments.
3) I would also consider using minox TWICE a day as opposed to once.

So, in a nutshell I would recommend:

a.m.

Rogaine Foam

p.m.

Minox w/ retin-a (alternated with the foam)
followed a few hours later by Revivogen.

Good luck!!!

Hey Leatherface, thank you for your input. I haven’t finalized my order with Dr. Lee yet. According to Dr.Lees recommendation, I should use xandrox 5% in the morning, and then xandrox 15% at night. I seem to have somewhat of an aversion to propylene glycol. I have been using rogaine foam for about six months and like it pretty well. Also seeing some positive results from revivogen, but the front doesn’t seem to be responding as well. I looked at Dr. Lee’s site originally because I was interested in a Retin-A product. I recalled that you spoke highly of his products. When I got my “diagnosis” for lack of a better term, this was what Dr. Lee prescribed. I did notice that it was pretty high priced, but so is revivogen and it isn’t treating the front, so I figured what the heck, might as well give it a try. Dr. Lee did say in his letter that this was a pretty aggressive treatment regimen. I will try your suggestion first, as I value your knowledge and experience in the hair loss game. Thank you again for your input.

Dr. Lee usually recommends that protocol for everyone. He really pushes his Xandrox products but I truly feel they are not worth the price. I love Dr. Lee’s stuff and buy from him regularly, but Xandrox is simply too much money and it is just glorified minox. Besides, you are already getting azeleic acid in Revivogen!

Like I said, use the foam in the a.m. and the minox w/retin-a in the p.m. but work up with it SLOWLY. The stuff can burn at first.

Also make sure you are using Nizoral every other day.

Good luck!
