Tongkat Ali?

Anyone have any experience with Solaray Tongkat Ali 400 mg? It seems to have really good quality control regarding sourcing material and testing.

The problem is that I think it’s a whole root powder rather than an extract.

How much do you take with what effect?

I have been taking 2 a day for 2 weeks but have noticed nothing.

The most useful of all herbals by far. agreed with 200:1 being the strength to aim for. I take 500-750mg, too much can cause liver enzymes to be elevated so I’ve heard.

Raising this from the dead: what are the reputable brands for tongkat ali now, and what is the most useful dosage?

I have tried a few brands but the Sumatra Pasak Bumi direct from Malaysia is the real deal for sure. It really works well like many in this thread also say. I find it weird that some say they get no effect from TA but maybe they have not used an authentic product - apparently TA is one of the most faked herbals on the net and I can see why. It is not that cheap but oh man, it is good stuff. I have tried many man boosting herbals in the last 15 years and this is a top 3 for me.

There may be other brands that use the proper 200:1 extract as well but the above name I mentioned is what I stick with for now. The tongkatali dot org website that I get I get it from looks very low key but its legit. They also link to Amazon which I just recently used and received again.

I have not used it in a year or so but I’m feeling that nice tingle in my testicles and tightness of the scrotum that I always get from it. My dick is always in a chubby state from it and that works nicely with the Jelq regime I have recently started up again.

I try to use a minimal dosage, like 1 x daily, taking the 300mg 200:1. 4 days on 2 off and 2 weeks off after 2 months so the Leydig cells don’t get used to it.

I recently bought Bell Chemicals TA, been taking it for a few weeks. I think it’s legit, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

TKA is also known as Longjack. I believe the Nugenix brand tends to carry it, and I bought a Nugenix supplement recently strictly for the Boron content and boy did I feel a difference. I felt so much more alpha than I normally do with it, and I like to chew those tablets up. It isn’t nasty, and I wash it down with water. I think it was the Testosterone Vitamin, which is the cheaper version. Boron raises free test levels which are the only test your body can actually use which is why I went with that. Simply raising total test without raising free test is a moot point in my opinion.
