I should also add that I believe the inflammation and immune response plays a big part in balding. Almost as big as DHT and hormones do. This is why Nizoral is so important as well as a copper peptide product (if you have the extra money. Copper peptides aren’t completely necessary but I think they help a little)
I personally prefer Folligen but many folks hate it. It is green and kind of messy, not to mention it stings a bit for the first few weeks you use it. The good news is that you only need to use it about 4 times a week.
Another Copper peptide is Tricomin which went through phase 2 FDA trials and out performed 2% Minoxidil. The problem, however, was that the company, Procyte, did not want to spend the moulah to go to phase 3 and therefore marketed their product as a ‘cosmetic’ and is therefore weaker than the treatment that was tested by the FDA. I have tried Tricomin and it leaves your hair nice (it has leave in conditioners) but I felt it did little for my loss after 1 year’s use.
Phew, I just wrote alot! Maybe I should cut and paste this on the other hairloss threads ;)
