Quik4life,
this is the sin talk I’m mocking here:

Sorry you missinterpreted me, nothing further from my beliefs than the very existence of sin. My fault. For that I apologize. What I’m just trying to underline in a sarcastic, even cynical way, is that you, meterosexuals, metrosexuals, xxxxsexuals, whomeversexuals, whateversexuals, have the right to be and behave the way you/they wish. Nobody has the right to judge you/them.
If you carefully read a couple of my posts you’ll notice that I’m actually supporting the “Metrosexual” cause, BTW, brought about or followed by people that I truly appreciate, admire and like from this forum.

And, heavy sinners, too. To start with they had too many Gods and Godesess, some of whom happened to be nasty MFs.<

Guys with roughly some 80lbs of excess weight, can I be a metro? I bathe every day.<
In these preceding lines I’m pointing out:
1- That something like Metro or Meterosexuality have important precedents in Human History, not only the Greeks, but also the Egiptians, the Romans and the Arabs (the Arab Empire) cultivated this healthy approach to self-image.
2- That Christian culture, which during the Middle Ages shyed away from self hygiene, even deeming a simple regular bath a thing of the Devil, considered Greeks as unrepentent sinners. Metrosexuals were called sinners before in the thread, so, they had the privilege to share that epiteth with the Greeks.
3- That what is called Metrosexuality, again a way of life that, IMHO, simply defines something that should be taken for granted, which is the care of our bodies, image and -hopefully- our intelligence (“Mens sana in corpore sano”, you see, nothing really new, Romans copied older cultures in the matter), is an example of what Psychologists call “Positive Narcisism”, which in actuality is a driving force that produces many benefits for the individual and sometimes for society.
4- That if taking care of one’s own body is a sin (again a ridiculous and Medieval idea, to say the least), then pulling the dick daily should be deemed truly a Capital sin, which is a conflict for this person, because he is in a forum of dick pullers, in consequence, comitting himself a sin. BTW, pulling the dick is a way of taking care of our bodies.
5- Even if I share your ideas, take care of myself and practice a Martial Art that requires an approach similar to Metrosexuality regarding selfimage and corporal hygiene, am I apt to call himself a Metrosexual, although I haven’t been able to shed those pounds, yet?
Finally,
I want to call your attention about this words written by you:
>What’s with all this SIN talk?!?!?!…It’s pissing me off. If you don’t like what we’re discussing, then get out.<
Please, even if you are right about the substance, you’re absolutely wrong about the form. Rudeness is not the proper way to debate. Here, we debate ideas. I might actually think that Metrosexuality is a sin (I couldn’t, I don’t even believe in God). In that case, debate, discredit the idea, but, sir, don’t try to kick me out of the place. You don’t have the right. Don’t fight people, again, just their ideas, with ideas.
