Ball pain

Today I got this pain in my ball. I felt around, but nothing unusual. The pain feels like I got kicked in them or got hit by a ball. When I feel around I feel one area that feels normal but when I tocuh it I get the pain. The weird thing is, yesterday and Friday, I played a lot of basketball and football and was probably hit in them at sometime. Do you think this is like an after sting from getting hit in them or something? Or anyone know anything else about it? Thanks.

I actually felt around a little bit more and felt that one of my balls wasn’t perfectly round. One of them feels like it has something on the side of it. I thought this pain might have been from playing sports the last few days, but not I am not too sure. Can anyone help? I am a healthy 20 year old kid.

EDIT: I cannot tell if this is actually on my testicle or if it is just like a vein or something around that area, because I can actually feel the entire ball and it is circular, but it also feels like this thing is in my way, too. Any help will be nice. Thank you.

You are using too much pressure when doing your girth routine. You could have gotten a micro rupture in one of your blood vessels in your scrotum. You need to take few days off.

There is supposed to be that “thing” on the side. But both testes should have it. They’d hurt a bit if you press on them.
If you feel a weird lump (it may not hurt) only on one of them then you need to see a doc as soon as possible.

I just noticed this thing today after my girth routine in the shower, but my balls hurt all day. I felt around and thing thing doesn’t really feel like it is on my testicle, because I can kind of move it around and I feel it move around. It feels like a vein or something thats bigger. This thing doesn’t hurt when I touch it and I am pretty sure it’s not a lump.

Was it warm out? The reason I ask is because if its warm, your balls sag more. Saggy balls equal bouncy balls which after a couple hours equal sore balls.

Yes, it was warm. It was actually very humid friday, and saturday was pretty hot when we were playing, too.

Ok, I just spent like the last 20 minuets examining it. I still cannot be sure if it is a lump or not. What do these lumps feel like. If I move my testicle should the bump move with it? If I force my testicle area to expand shoudl I notice it?

Oh well, I will pray tonight, go to sleep, and see how it feels in the morning. I can’t examine it anymore tonight because it hurts and it feels kind of sore and soft(sore and softer than the other one that is). Anyway I will check back here ASAP, so please don’t leave me hanging.

Testicular pain is nothing to take lightly.

It could be indicative of something serious.

I suggest that you go see a professional ( health care, not hooker) and get it checked.

It could be something as simple as epididymitis or as scary as torsion testicles…go get checked!

Dude is it a tube like structure which hugs the testicles? Is it long and tubular, as opposed to just a small bump. If yes, then it’s the epididymis. When I discovered this for the first time it gave me a fright.

I would say chill out for a few days and wait for the pain to subside. If it doesn’t, then go see a doctor.

Unless you have VA, HMO, or other next to no cost Dr. visits, then just go to the Doc.

I went to the doc today for a fast visit. I came with only short notice, so he did me fast and in between patients. I went in and explained my problem. I dropped my pants, and coughed. He said it’s good there is no swelling, but the possibilities are so many, that we can’t be sure of anything yet. He gave me a blood test, and a urine test and now I am going back friday for a better visit.
