scrotum blood vessels

scrotum blood vessels

I notice now that my scrotum now responds to jelqing. I don’t touch it, but I see little red arteries begin to appear here and there on the sack. I can feel them too; they feel mildly “sharp.” There is NO PAIN. It just feels like the arteries inside are full (but they feel sharp because they are thin little lines). This happens more often now at the end of my stroke when I am up behind the glans. I also kegel often both before and at the end of the stroke. If this is normal, then I will continue. If this is good, I will be happy  . If this is bad, I therefore need to modify my routine per all of your helpful suggestions.

I did a search as usual, but I found nothing.

Please give it to me straight. I will choose the SAFETY of patient gains over quick but harmful gains anyday.

Thanks, more experienced people  !

Wow, that’s very strange. I’ve never been able to see any blood vessels through the skin on my scrotum. If there’s no pain there shouldn’t be a reason to worry but let some more people tune in before you continue. I’d definetly take a break till you get that figured out because that’s not normal.

I am not sure if it is good or bad, but the fact is that you can damage blood vessels in your testicles when doing PE. In this case you will feel pain. I’d say jelqs (up to 80%) are safe but be careful with erect girth excersises.

How so?

Maj. Wood: Where are you seeing these new vessels? Perhaps are they near the area where your skin is being stretched during jelqing, at the top of the scrotum, under the shaft?

The pressure of inflowing blood meets the pressure of outflowing blood (e.g. when you do horses for example). Those pressures meet roughly around testicle area damaging blood vessels in the testicles. The danger is quite real.

Oh, I see. Seems like the consensus is to beware of testicle damage. I read you loud and clear. The blood vessels don’t bulge out. Also, another thing to note is that I don’t really have that much hair on my scrotum, which makes things easy to see. My testes don’t feel any of this, It is just within the sack itself on the side I can see looking down at it. So, wrestla, this only includes the UNDERSIDE of the shaft and a little further down BETWEEN the testes. The skin goes up quite a way as I jelq, it stretches a LOT  ! Also, sparky, I don’t do horses because I don’t feel ready.

It sounds like a warning sign then, and I will update my routine accordingly. I will try to jelq with less of an erection and see how it goes. I am still trying to get the hang of keeping the erection level constant, as I am only a little over a month in.

I have thought of the possibility that maybe this is null and void because they are stretch marks instead of vessels, but who knows?

Thanks for your input fellas, I really appreciate it!

I was going to let it go, but now that you’re referencing this thread (here and here) as advice, I have to comment.

The blood supply for the testicles is quite separate from that for the penis and scrotum. PE exercises, even those that increase internal pressure in the arteries and veins of the penis, could not transmit that pressure to the testicles or scrotum. Your advice to stop PE (in the linked posts) may be valid for a specific complaint, but your reasoning regarding transmission of pressure is not possible based on the anatomy.

The main testicular arteries and veins originate at the abdominal aorta and inferior vena cava near the kidneys (because, as you know, the testicles begin as abdominal organs). These vessels are joined at the deep inguinal ring by the ductus deferens and its artery and the cremasteric artery and vein (which originate near the inguinal ring from branches off the external iliacs). These vessels, as well as lymph vessels and nerves, surrounded by the cremaster muscles, combine within a fascial sheath and pass through the inguinal canal to the testicles.

The blood supply of the penis is composed of the dorsal and deep arteries which are branches of the internal pudendal artery which is a branch of the internal iliac. Veins drain the penis in a similar manner. There is no connection between the penile blood supply and the testicular blood supply.

The scrotum receives blood from two sources. The anterior part is supplied by arteries branching from the external pudendals which branch from the femorals. The posterior scrotum is supplied by arteries branching from the perineal arteries which branch from the internal pudendals.

Thanks for your help wrestla. I learned something new. Maybe this is just a mistake where I am stretching the skin instead. Although, I haven’t seen this happen again; it only happened twice. Do you think it’s possible that I was gripping too low beginning the stroke and pressing vessels that went to the testes? I use an UNDERHAND grip for jelqing.

I get those after I PE. They usually get more intense when I warm down, but after about 5 minutes or so they go away. I do the normal jelq.

Yes, I think it might have been blood vessels in the skin that were blown up with the pressure. If everything returned to normal I doubt that there’s a significant problem.

Tiger balls

Maj.Wood,
You may want to do an image search on google for “spider veins.”
I’m interested in where this thread goes because I’ve started developing spider veins on the front of my scrotum, between the balls. My PE routine under an IR lamp is basic stretching, jelqing, and some BTB jelqing. The veins are superficial (in the skin) and are more visible right after jelqing. What’s odd is that they are horizontal—like stripes on a tiger (roaaaaaarh!). While I have a pinching sensation in the scrotal skin at times, I think that’s more from getting used to boxers than it is from any vein problem :) ; the veins are not tender to the touch. I looked up “spider vein”/scrotum on google and the most I found was about varioceles (varicose veins inside the scrotum). Since I have no real pain and discomfort, I’m not worried about it

Westla (oh great student of anatomy!),
Do you think superficial spider veins in scrotal skin might be an indicator that internal veins are possibly thrombosing? My gut instinct is simply “maybe, maybe not.”

No. The scrotal skin is drained by veins to a different system than the veins of the testicles and vas deferens. What appears on the skin is not related to the veins inside.

Yes, Josh, that’s EXACTLY what it looked like! I had a “tiger sack” for a moment  , and they felt like I was pulling hair a little. Sure enough, I wear boxers too. They went horizontal and everything. They don’t look like veins, though, because they are red and tiny, but who knows. However, they haven’t happened like the first time again. I also start my jelq grip a little higher up lately. It might do it now for a split second every now and then, but it always goes away after I release my tugging.

The scrotum is a vascular rich area and not affected by normal jelq activities. You must be having some phantom sensations, for fun you can take a flashlight and press it up to your scrotal sac next to the mirror in semi-darkness. You will see a road map of the greater NY city area.

LOL ! Do you think the roads look bigger because the traffic is always congested in the metro  ?
