Are there any other meds that can help stop premature ejaculation? Do you think after you’ve stopped using it, you’ve overcome your pe?
Thanks.
Personally I found them addictive. Not in the sense that I craved them, but if I went a few days without taking them my state of mind dramatically deteriorated. At one point I spent the entire night in a sweat, with a sickly warm stomach just continually pacing back and forth, all my problems magnified. It was all mental, but the result was physical because I could not control these feelings at all. It was the closest to suicidal I have ever been, pretty scary.
Now apparently not all people experience withdrawls, and these days doctors reccomend coming off the drugs very gradually to avoid this. This wasnt advised to me by my doctor though, he said I could go off whenever I wanted, and I was unlucky enough to be one of the ones who did have a bad reaction. Some people still have problems, and end up completely dependent on them. So I went cold turkey, stopped taking them and eventually got over the hump.
Overall I’m probably slightly more anxious and neurotic being off the drugs, but I’d rather just be me and work on these problems other ways without chemical assistance.
Unfortuantly I don’t know what else could help. Maybe a numbing cream, a condom, or try different positions. I actually have the opposite problem, I can’t cum for the life of me…have to jack myself off after sex to actually blow.
