Thunder's Place

The big penis and mens' sexual health source, increasing penis size around the world.

I have been diagnosed with Andropause by 789

I may not have mentioned this in the past but over the past six months because of my erection difficulties I had become co-dependent on Cialis and Viagra. If I didnt have any in my system I was very concerend that I wouldnt be able to perform.

Over the past week however, both of my sexual encounters with my wife have been impotence drug free.

Congrats on the great results from the patch. I know you have been getting tons of usefull information and I don’t want to just add more information that you may or may not be able to use, but I have two things I would like to talk to you about.

1. Maybe you can try and remember if something happened similar around the same time that your wife started experiencing her hard times, were she started feeling tired irritable, etc.

2. I started taking some pro-hormones last year. I gained a bunch of muscle in a short period of time. Problem was that I lost all desire to have sex. No morning wood, for the first time in my life. I started taking some supplements that are recommended from the supplement companies and experienced a very slow, gradual return to almost normal. I then did some more research and found this website, http://proteinfactory.com I started taking this supplement called Unleashed and also started taking ZMA. Well after just a couple days my morning wood has become stronger than I can remember. It is so strong some times, that I can’t sleep on my stomach.

I am not trying to tell you to stop the patch, these are just a couple suggestions if you decide to ever come off the patch. Also what I have read about DHEA is perfect for your symptoms. It usually has little to no effect for guys with normal T levels, so it was discounted as being useless for the bodybuilding community, but it is very effective in returning men to normal T levels when they are low.

Good luck man I wish you all the best,

Gary

Gary thank you for the link to proteinfactory.com. I will definately look into this and the DHEA.

I dont remember whether I experienced these symptoms at the same time as my wife, but I dont think so.

Yeah, I really feel like a new man. I am greedy and want more. I want more weight loss, I want more erections, I want more energy. I will report back soon again and let you guys know the continued results. I go back to the doctors office on June 7 for followup bloodwork.

I appreciate this thread also, I have had a lighter version of the symptoms as well. I just ordered some DHEA that has something called “7-keto” in it also. I think that makes you have a leaner body, and crap thunder (no pun or joke intended against the Boss).

You have an appointment on 6-7 and your name is 789, a coincidence, I think not!

Wow that sounds really fantastic! It sounds like you are on your way to feeling like superman! :D

I have a few questions, if it’s not too personal or whatever:

This guy is using just the patches. I gather (from reading those websites) that there is “Natural HRT” and “plain HRT”. I assume this is called plain HRT, or has he called it something else?

If you have health insurance, then you might not know; but do you have any idea what this is costing? (That’s been one of my big fears about seeing specialists.) I’m curious to get an idea of (1) what the office visits and bloodwork might cost a person without health insurance, and (2) after that, what do the hormones and whatever prescriptions cost per month.

Actually something else, too: has he mentioned the long term battle plan? Do you need to just see him monthly for the first 2 or 3 months? After these initial evaluations to see where you are at, what happens next? Do you have to see him every month the rest of your life? Drop in every six months or annually after that? Has he mentioned this at all?

Do you use the patches the rest of your life, or do periodic evaluations after the initial stuff, or does he take you off everything eventually later on?

It sounds like you are really having a good experience from it, that’s awesome. Keep us posted, I have been wondering about doing something like this for a long time myself, but never knew anyone that had any experience with it to talk to.

Thanks to everyone else too, for your posts and sharing whatever experience you have with things like this.

I think there are a lot of us in mid-life, or older, that could be living better lives if we could just get a few things like this figured out: diet, exercise, hormone problems or whatever and if we knew more about it (and it doesn’t cost “an arm and a leg”) maybe more of us would be looking into it.

Great new, 789! Do you plan to use the patch long-term, or are you looking for a way to get Testosterone production back up naturally?

Sorry, I wasn’t very specific, what I meant was maybe something happened in your wife’s life right before she experienced her hard times. Which could be linked to a similar thing which happened in your life, right before you experienced your symptoms. You mentioned how you lost all that money, maybe something like that happened to your wife before her symptoms. Either way, I am glad the patch is working so well.

I was also reading up on natural HRT which is sometimes referred to as bioidentical HRT, its sounds a lot better for your system but its hard to find a doctor who is a specialist just at that.

With my insurance it costs me $50 for two months worth of patches. Without insurance it would be $200 for two months of patches. The office visits are more difficult to say since my insurance picks that up but I guess it would be about $100 without insurance for a specialist, maybe more. The blood work I can get done here at a hospital clinic without insurance or authorization for about $30.

I have an appointment that was already existing prior to the patch that happens to fall in the first month and I intend on keeping it. After that I do not know. I also do not know if I will have to wear the patch forever. I hope not, but after I consistently feel better I may try an alternative like tongkat ali and DHEA like some of the other guys have suggested.

From what I have read, hormone balancing is a very exciting field with lots of upside potential for those looking for the fountain of youth. The next decade should prove out the methods and medications and be able to help people who are even on the fringes. At least thats what I hope.

I will for sure keep you all informed.

After I feel better for a longer time and my blood levels stabalize I fully intend to look into alternatives. I am hopeful I wont be wearing the patch forever. I hate taking long term drugs.

One way to naturally raise tesosterone levels is by reducing estrogen levels with an aromatase inhibitor. Estrogen is the main inhibitory hormone involved in test regulation. Estrogen levels tend to increase as we age. There are several OTC AI’s available with the best researched being 6-oxo by Ergopharm. It can be purchased over the net or At GNC. I have used it and can report an increase in testicle size and libido. I did not take it long enough to notice a change in body composition due to the cost.

Thank you for the help on that. Do you know if you have to take it forever?
