Is venous leakage permanent

Is venous leakage permanent

I was just wondering if venous leakage is permanent or not. Can your body cure itself over time or is surgery required? I’ve just been wondering that as I’ve been looking through causes of ED and have never really found an answer.

I’d guess it would depend on which veins were leaking. Shaft veins might be fixed with increased tissue growth from PE helping to occlude them. While the coronal complex of veins that drain the glans wouldn’t be affected by PE exercises. There are surgical options (embolization) for venous leakage. Most urologists would probably recommend it over PE exercises since most of them aren’t familiar with PE and the ability of it to fix such things hasn’t been officially tested.

How serious it is, is a factor.

You can lessen the degree of it somewhat though regular vacuum pumping and some other PE exercises by making your penile arterial system more efficient. You can often work around it very effectively using one or another of the ED drugs. Cock rings are very helpful.

There is surgery for venous leakage with pretty good results in the hands of a highly experienced surgeon. Results are good but do not always last.

This is not a condition you can self-diagnose. Further, men with ED often assume they have venous leakage when they have something else. There is a very good test for it called a Doppler Color Sonogram which can pretty accurately pin-point areas of leakage if there are any. The problem is, what do you then do with the information?

If you can have sex pretty much as long as you want as long as your able to get it up in the first place but if your not having sex after you get it up (only through manual stimulation) you lose, it quickly would this be a sign of venous leakage or would I lose my erections during sex if I had venous leakage?

Anyone?

I should think if you had venous leakage, you wouldn’t be able to get it up in any situation..

So I don’t think you have it

Sounds more like psychological problem, than structural. Just try to find out what can cause it, stress, looking too much porn (common), not enough sleep, etc.

Keep soft tissue soft.

There are two ways it manefests itself: You can get erections initially, then lose them; or you can’t get firm enouigh in the first place. It’s about blood draining out (venous) faster than the arterial system can support the erection. But then, other forms of ED can show the same symptoms.

When there is indeed venous leakage, cock rings can be a big help. And the usual ED drugs can help also if the leakage is not too severe. The drugs (Viagra, etc) get you up, the cavernosal chambers fill, then that fullness is enough to sort of “clamp” off the offending, leaking veins such that you might sustain an erection.
