Lasting effects from Propecia

I think this should possibly be moved to the health forum but I cannot post there.

I believe that my current size status could be related to my early long term usage of Propecia. I was 13 when I started during a stressful time and I started having very noticeable hair loss. I stopped taking the medicine around the age of 17. I’m currently 22 and 5’9” with a BPEL of 4.5” and EG of 3.5”. I feel that this might be due to Propecia as I did grow in height but I never really hit puberty in a sense. I cannot grow facial hair really, my voice never depened, and I never got any enlargement in my penis between the ages of 14-present.

Knowing the roll Propecia plays with hormones I wonder if it could have a hand in this?

I really can’t imagine any physician prescribing finasteride to someone just starting puberty. Please tell us more.

Did they ever test your testosterone levels back then?

Well there is an upside. Your androgen receptors are extremely up regulated, so I read in Kevin Pezzi’s: “THE SCIENCE OF SEX” that if you rub DHT cream (Andractim) on it, and also use a pump or some other form of exercise, you will grow, and probably a lot. I would do it once you come off the drug. Being bald isn’t that bad.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. What was that doctor thinking? And was your extreme hair loss looked at from a physiological aspect other than just male pattern baldness/alopecia?

No they never did check my testosterone levels.

It was more of a really casual “oh, your hair is falling out at this age? Here take this.”

Everyone on both sides of my family are 6-7 feet tall and from what I know hung like horses, and I’m the runt of the litter really in the easily visible height department at 5’9” which everyone can tell.

In regards to the dht cream applications, I’m wanting to call BS on that because if that were true then I’d feel alot more people would be swearing by that in their regiments and resulting gains. Anyone care to comment on that?

I’ve started doing pe exercises as of last month and have noticed small gains already in girth around a quarter inch but understand that those aren’t cement gains.

I’m also going to do a master cleanse and see if perhaps things change thus showing that residual effects of the drug linger on in the body long after usage has stopped.

Wow that’s a bad doctor. Your T level should have been checked, and it may be why your dick didn’t grow more during puberty. i thought i heard propecia (and rogain) can cause gynecomastia, and thus lower you t levels. your doc prob didnt know back then.

I would say get you t level checked, just to know. shots may be in order. as for PE, youre lucky to have found it young. With committment you can have a horse cock soon enough. There’s a guy here that started with no joke, a 2” EL. Now he’s over 6” There’s pics to prove it. I say get a test by an endocrinologist for your T level, and ask that Dr. about the propecia at a young age. And PE consistently, it works.

I take it you were exaggerating about the growth hormone giving someone you know a 12” penis. That kind of size is ridiculous and only 1 in about 5 billion would be anything like that.

Regardless, growth hormone doesn’t give you a big penis from what I understand…

If it did, Barry Bonds and Sylvester Stallone would both have hoses down to their ankles, as would a lot of the NFL.

I have HEARD of teens taking GH for height and it elongating their dicks a lot. I don’t know if it’s true. Think of all the other stuff we have “HEARD” over the years, you know?

I wasn’t BS’ing on the DHT cream thing. The reason it would more likely work on you, is your receptors are up-regulated. That is why you will most likely have a response to it. It isn’t the first time people have tried it, but it did not work on the guy here who tried it. However I have heard other positive reports, and someone on this forum also told me it worked for him. Can’t remember his name, so don’t ask.

I’m sorry this just isn’t adding up for me. 1) A doctor that gives a child Propecia 2) Brothers that are 6 -7 feet tall hung like horses 3)A friend with a 12 inch penis.

Yeah man, I would think that your unit has a lot of untapped growth potential. So perhaps all you need to do it get your hormones at the right levels to start the natural growth process.

You have to admit at least they get creative with it once in awile.
