Opting for circumcision

Hello everyone:

I’m thinking myself to be cut, I just want to hear some experiences from guys that have had this. How well was the experience?

I don’t remember a damn thing but I am glad my folks had me snipped.

This is a strange custom indeed. I am circumsised and it was just automatic that I had all 3 of my boy done as well. My father never was because he was born at home. So he made sure that my bother and I was circumsised.

It seems that the majority of Americans are cut. A hundred years ago most children were born at home. I wonder if it was when hospital births became common is when we started circumsising here in America. Of course Jewish people do this for religious reasons. There are some Christian basis to this practice too.

Since most guys are circumsised in our country I am glad I am as well. Probably I would feel self conscience if I was the only circumsised guy in the locker room with a bunch of uncut guys.

Only about 60% of newborn males in America today are being circumcised. So in the coming generations there will be no stigma attached to uncut cocks.

I got circusized when I was 23. I remember I was very sore for a week. Then to make matter worse my gf at the time came by and I (like an idiot) got a boner. :eek: It ripped the stitches and bleed pretty good, and yes it hurt. At the time I was more worried about confessing to the surgeon. :) I told the gf, she couldnt come over until I healed. :D

I don’t think so westla, sorry. The fact, is that I don’t like the extra skin, and that gives me troubles, when I need to make my routines.

So the post operation is only one week? Also do you lost some sensation, being cut?

I didnt notice a single difference in sensation. I think thats over played. Post-Op I was sore for a week, I think it was 2 weeks healing time, but everyone heals differtently time wise. In our society it was my normal looking to be cut (im a little shallow like that). If I lived in a foreign country, I would think nothing of it. Mine was strictly for cosmetic reasons. Its funny, some uncut guys want to be cut, and some cut guys want their foreskin back.

I have a friend, he got cut at an adult age. He was marrying a muslim girl so he had to do it to be accepted by her family. He told me it was very painful and erections during healing time were a big no. Sometimes he wished he had a hole in his bed so he could let it hang through it when he slept.

I don’t know the reasons why you decided to become cut but if those reasons are not life changing then don’t do it. Stay natural.

Think long and hard (LOL) before you do it. I was born in a city hospital in the 50’s, when all little boys were cut. My sons are uncut. Should they one day decide to change that, they at least have the option to do so. I never had that option.
