Im also uncut, and my pops always told me to pull my skin back when I pee’d and to wipe my head with tp if it got a little wet. From as young as I could remember. He also told me to wash it with a washcloth whenever I took a bath. I used to get that uncut white fungal type of goo under the skin, but I eventually trained myself to Always keep the skin retracted, and it went away. So over my whole life Ive been constantly retracting my foreskin anytime it went foward. And now it stays back for the most part, (except when Im freezing my ass off).
Also when I was a kid I used to want to get my foreskin cut because I “wasnt like the other boys”. My dad told me that when I got older I could make that decision if I really wanted to. I decided not to follow through with that. But Now that Im older Im glad I didnt make that decision because its just taking more away from my natural self! I feel completely normal now you know? Plus my skin doesn’t go foward. So just give him the hint to pull his foreskin back as much as possible.

I don’t recall exactly when I started retracting my foreskin when I would bathe. I do know that I was doing it at age 8. When I urinate I always pull back slightly on my foreskin so that it does not block the urine flow.

Let his body release the foreskin on it’s own. If the skin is still attached to the head it will cause great pain to pull it back. Also the pearly papules that everyone has behind the corona will try to compensate for the pain and prematurely start to make smegma at a greater pace. (Kinda like if you wash your face waaaaay too much in the teen years the oil glands try to compensate for the overly dry skin by producing more oil, hence even more breakouts.)
I personally have little problem with smegma. In fact it will take a few days for any buildup of any kind to occur.

Peeing should actually automatically clean out most of the smegma. The foreskin kindof acts like a buffer so that the force of urinating is lowered (of course this usually isn’t a problem)

No. Unseparated toes are joined by skin and need to be separated by being sliced. Prepuce(foreskin) joined to the glans is called an Adhesion. It is just that, an adhesion just like adhesive. The Foreskin and Glans are literally glued together like when you glue your fingers (or toes) together with super glue. Eventually the superglue does give way.

Note that even some children that are cut are still attached a little bit (butcher’s fault) and that small amount eventually loosens.

Here at Thunders, where many topics are discussed, I doubt parental guidance comes to anyones mind. So I thank you for your input.

It was probably normal and the doctor was overzealous. The “stuck like superglue” as I mentioned above is more than just stuck. It’s glued for years and years. When I was a kid I did noticed quite a few cut guys that didn’t have all of their glans exposed. Even with constant washing and bathing, those stuck parts didn’t give way until they were in their teens.

I started to retreat my foreskin_completely_at 10. I can’t remember if I sprayed around before that age (but I don’t think)

I greatly appreciate your input. I am trying to reconcile your words with the others. Some of what you have stated jibes well with what I have heard from his doctor with the exception of the “superglue” and smegma. I did mistakenly tell him to wash his glans about 1 year ago before the doctor advised against. He did not have pain from the superglue effect, nor has there been any sort of irritation. It was at that point in time though , when I realised I have no idea what to tell him about his foreskin.

Would you think a partial retraction during urination would be OK if there is not an accompanying pain from superglue?

No, he said nothing. The only time it was mentioned was when me mother told me how to wash it properly.

I am uncut, and all may 5 brothers, and let me tell you that It should be retracted and washed every day, every day when you bath your child you should do it. Also it is good to keep it retracted, it helps de-sensitizing. I good to be uncut, it is good to have a whole tool (just keep it cleaned).
