Questions for Uncircumcised Men

I don’t know what religion you are, but I used to think that Catholics (Christians in general) had to be circumcised. However, I talked with a few priests and that is not the case.

Religions that I know of that require circumcision are Hebrew and Muslim, because in both Abraham cut himself when he was 100yrs old, and then went to do his sons.

It’s funny, I was looking for benefits of being uncut and I stumbled upon a Pro-Circumcision website.
The site is total bunk. Very American-centric and quite racist and prejudiced. It goes on to say things like, “circumcision is performed at the rate of 65-95% in usa, with the 5% being uneducated foreigners and hispanics.” Again, BS site.

But, even in all the crap I found this little gem:”

Ok 3% for religious, 1-2% for medical, hmm, so the other 95% ?

It talks of the smegma having antibacterial properties and such.

In the west people have been lied to over and over. For example:
“In the U.S. Uncut men contract the disease at three times the rate of circumcised men, yet American Cancer Society officials cite lower penile-cancer rates in countries that do not practice circumcision.”

Ok, clearly something is wrong. Either the american data is skewed towards being cut (that’s for sure), or the fact that in most countries uncut men DO NOT pull back the skin to wash everyday, suggests that the smegma may have protective properties both antifungal, antibacterial and possibly anti cancerous.

Risks of higher rates of cervical cancer from sex with uncut men are american alone. Many reports have found the opposite.

In the west, we think we know everything, because the media tells us so. Women who douche too much have been shown to have higher rates of all kinds of infections, but if that were published in the magazines, the douche makers would loose money.

The west revolves around $ $ $ $, to get that $ there is a lot of disinformation.

A major publication stated that the home remedy St.John’s Wort was only effective in a smaller number of cases in anxiety and depression. So that people would not go out and buy inexpensive nature made St.John’s Wort. The publication, only using an excerpt from the original study, did not go on to say that prozac worked in only half the cases that St.John’s Wort did, and included adverse side effects, including nausea, depression(which it is supposed to help with), psychotic episodes, lethargy, listlessness, and suicidal tendencies.

Sorry, to go waay off on a tangent, but I just wanted to make a point that so called “studies” in North America are often skewed.

There are many interesting points in the article. I especially like how “normal” has now come in mean cut in the U.S. We opted not to have it done because it seems so abnormal. I asked a simple question, “Why is it there?” I found many answers and not one of them was “to be cut off by doctors”.

It is interesting to see that early on it was a class distinction, and the poor followed along in a keep up with the Jones fashion. The American public, too often, believe what they read, and not often enough think about what they haven’t read and why that information wasn’t written about. So, ….

Personally, I’ve been pulling my foreskin back since I could remember, to the point that now my foreskin does not even cover my head because it is so used to being pulled back. I am glad I decided not to pursue a circumcision because it makes no difference to me anymore plus it adds a little more thickness to my shaft. The only downside of a foreskin is that it is a little more trickier to practise PE, and when I get cold my foreskin does a damn good job of pulling my dick back into my body. Also, because of my skin my dick head is much more sensitive and I cum easily during sex unless I use a condom. However when I have children I dont think I will have them circumsized, as that is up to them to decide when they get older. I don’t understand why accounts in the Bible have had children circumsized, it is strange. If God really wanted us to do so, we wouldn’t have a foreskin to begin with.

Finally was able to speak with the doctor and my son.

The Doc suggested pulling the foreskin back to reveal the tip of the head (but not completely over it) so the urethra is unobstructed. If the stream is still more of a spray, then there might be an obstruction.

An interesting thing about my son. About a year ago he could pull back his foreskin to reveal his head. When I spoke with him tonight about peeing, he tried but could not. It hurt at about the point when the tip of the foreskin just passed the urethral opening. Odd.

Anyway, he had already peed, so I’ll find out tomorrow if it works.

That second link is so disturbing. I mean sure, it might be rare but just why even take the risk? Why not let him grow up and make his own choice? Poor little innocent boy.

My son is almost four and uncircumcised. His doesn’t retract very far, but it also doesn’t spray at all when he pees.

I’ve suggested to him to stretch it himself as I think that’s all that’s needed to achieve retraction. Chances are that he won’t be pulling it hard enough to cause pain or damage.

I’m cut but never would have chosen it for myself.

Wow, I haven’t been around for a while. Sorry. But just to answer your question, it was around 15.
When I was a kid my dad always used to tell me to pull it back and forth so it would not stick to the head (phimosis) so I started doing those kind of pulls very early. With time the skin was getting lose around the head.
I always cleaned it in the shower, but never retracted it to pee (and it used to stink a lot) .Then I read somewhere that retracting it before pee was the key for a clen pee wee, and I was happy ever since.

I told him to pull it back to the urethral opening. He cannot pull it back any farther than that right now anyway, the hole is too small.

The stream of urine is still spraying out in various directions when weak. When it is a strong, like in the middle of a pee, it is more normal.

This is an interesting thread. My son was not cut and as I was cut, I had no clue what I should teach him. I guess he has learned his own way.

Interestingly, it is much more common now for baby boys not to be circumcised. I read an article which suggested that public hospitals only do it gratis on religious grounds. Others have to pay and it is quite a sum.

Encourage your son to slowly ease the foreskin back while in the shower or bath, suggest he stops if he feels any discomfort. This should be done over a period of weeks. He should be able to retract it sufficient to pee without the spray effect by now. If spraying is still causing a problem get him to sit while peeing until he is able to retract it fully. The foreskin should not be adhereing to the head at his age. If it is still causing concern after following this proceedure for two or three months a visit to the doctor might be in order. Resist any temptation to solve any problems by having him circumcised. Remember, we are all different so what seems routine for some may take longer to resolve for others.
