Retrograde ejaculation
I’ve suffered from premature ejaculation since forever and to enjoy a decent sex life I’ve learned to restrain myself from reaching a point of no return by squeezing my PC really hard when I felt ejaculation coming. I did that intuitively long before I’ve heard about Kegels or PC muscle and eventually became a master of this technique. It’s not uncommon for me to do it 5 or 6 times before I finally come. Everything would be great, but..
Some time ago I noticed my semen volume became PATHETICALLY low, about 1/3 of what it used to be, and my ejaculations are super weak now - cum just dribbles out.
After some googling I’ve found that what I have is retrograde ejaculation - semen goes into bladder instead of going out through the urethra. This can be confirmed by presence of semen in urine after ejaculation and may be caused by:
- Prostate or urethral surgery
- Diabetes
- Some medications, including hypertension and moon-altering drugs
- Fractures of the pelvis that damage the nerves to the bladder
Since none of the above is my case (don’t know about the damaged nerve though), I wonder if it could be caused by my “edging” technique used for years?
I could understand that when I stop the ejaculation when it’s already “on it’s way”, the semen has no other choice but go to the bladder, hence the low volume afterwards. The point is that I retrograde now even if I go straight for an orgasm, without trying to stop it.
Do you think doing hard Kegels to prevent ejaculation for years could have caused it? If so, is it because I’ve “trained” PC muscle to hold the ejaculation whenever it comes so it does it now even if I don’t want to, and can be “untrained” somehow? Or could it be it permanently damaged/weakened the bladder muscle (that normally doesn’t let the semen go into bladder) and nothing can be done about it?
I’m pretty concerned since dribbling out a few drops instead of shooting massive amounts of load all over the place is quite an ego thing. Besides, what’s more important, I’m still young (23) and plan to father a child which is impossible with RE. Guys, give me some hope here ;)
PS: Since this is my first post, I’d like to thank all of you guys for being such a great community. Even thought I don’t PE anymore I still love reading this forum! Oh, and sorry for my English, feel free to correct me if you want :)
