Twisted penis

Twisted penis

Hey all,

New to the whole PE thing. Now that summer’s hit, I’m going to be more active about it. However, there’s one thing about my penis that’s been bugging me, and I was hoping someone on here could address it for me. My penis is a bit twisted. Not bent, and therefore not Peyronie’s, but twisted. It twists to the left maybe about 30º. Pic attached. (I tried to post this in the “Member’s Pics” forum, but I don’t have privileges yet, so please forgive me.)

I’ve tried to look into this online a bit, and most of the results that do talk about twists and not bends suggest that it’s not abnormal, and it’s nothing to be worried about. I would really have no trouble with it, if not for the persistent discomfort that comes along with it. I’ve had this issue for as long as I can remember. Because it twists to the left, it actually also leans slightly to the left. I’ve noticed that it is extremely uncomfortable whenever I “force” the penis to lie flush with my body to the left — flaccid or erect. I don’t really know how to describe the discomfort; it is only that — discomfort. But it’s uncomfortable enough to make me actually want to “force” my penis to the right whenever I wear something tight on the groin like jockstraps or swimsuits (I usually wear boxers). But of course it always comes “undone,” so I find myself adjusting to push the penis to the right quite often. It’s kind of irritating, and is also becoming slightly worrisome.

One last thing, I find that I notice this discomfort more after masturbating. Which led me to believe that it may simply be psychological. But this has been with me for years, and is persistent and never fails to give me discomfort. So much so that, actually, when I sleep on my left, I continue to want to tuck my penis to the right with the sheets, so that it does not lean to the left.

I don’t know if any of you that are more familiar with the anatomy of the penis have any suggestions to offer. Can this situation be alleviated with the PE exercises like jelqing? Should I maybe see a urologist? I should, shouldn’t I, even if only for peace of mind?

Hi Latitude,

Sorry to hear of your concerns about your dick. I am going to suggest you see a doctor because of the discomfort. If it was not causing you pain and discomfort I would not recommend it. You say it has been with you since as long as you remember, so it is not an injury.

Speak to your doctor be frank and open with him or her.

Best of luck diesel.

Always be cool.

Mine is twisted too but I have no discomforts. I just don’t like the twist but mine is twisted more than yours is.

Mine’s exactly the same, slight twist - Like Sed I have no discomfort though. Aesthetically, it’s not noticeable & looks totally normal. Discomfort wise, I’m not sure what to suggest.

Wow, I never thought anybody would have the same problem as me. With the exception of the bed thing, I can identify with EVERYTHING you are experiencing. I find myself constantly adjusting my penis by pushing it to the right. It feels so much more comfortable like that. I’m trying jelqig in the opposite direction to correct the twist/curve.

If you’re circumcised you could Google “circumcision damage malopposition” to see an explanation for some people’s twists. Your looks natural and fine.

When I started non-surgical foreskin restoration, I had a pronounced asymetry, just hanging a bit to the left flaccid and erect. I decided to do all my tugging to the right, and several years later I’m far more symetrical, especially during and after sex.

Asymetry is actually normal. They say it keeps your testicles from banging together.

Mine twists too, I didn’t know it until I took pictures of my penis. No discomfort though.
