Type 2 Diabetes

Type 2 Diabetes

I was exchanging PMs with a new member, and he was asking about Type 2 Diabetes, PE, and Sex. I don’t have T2, but over the years it has become more and more common. When it is first diagnosed, my understanding is that doctors often tell their patients to lose weight and avoid sugar in their diet. Recently, I’ve heard that diet sodas have been linked to T2.

I did a search on Thunder’s, and all of the stuff is quite old. So I ask everyone: what do you think?

Do you have T2? What are you doing to manage it? Does PE help? How does it affect sex? What should the rest of us do to improve our chance of avoiding T2 diabetes?

Inquiring minds want to know…

Live long and prosper.

Does anyone on here actually know what type of disease diabetes is? The answer is not sugar disease.

Without consulting the master search engine in the sky, I’d say that diabetes is a disease that limits the ability of the body to control blood sugar levels. Left untreated, it can damage other organs in the body, and can lead to premature death.

How did I do, Jimmybob?

Not bad. Actually it’s classified as a circulatory disease, a disease of the blood vessels. In the old days docs could spend time telling their patients what things were and why they have to do this and not do that. They don’t have that luxury anymore. Many diabetics just think it’s a sugar thing. What they don’t understand as they eat the extra piece of cake is that unregulated sugar in high amounts rots out the plumbing, the blood vessels. That is why many unregulated diabetics lose toes, finger, and eyesight as the small capillaries there rot out faster than larger vessels.

Hmm… I guess that is why diabetes can make guys impotent.

I had heard the carbonation reacts with the sugar to create some really toxic chemicals that can cause diabetes. Not sure how true it is but if your gonna have soda have diet. Although I’ve also heard sweeteners can cause weight gain according to a new study that found there is some properties about them.

As I understand it from following Jack Kruse … . .

T2 Diabetes is insulin resistance.
Before insulin resistance comes Leptin resistance.
Leptin resistance comes from circadian mismatches.
The very first sign of T2 diabetes is a thickening of the choroid in the eye.
This is a big clue that it is tied to your light environment.

It is caused mainly by blue light toxicity - excess artificial light and not enough natural sunlight.

Food is only 1/3rd of the problem and only when the food eaten is not matched to the natural sunlight environment.

Natural sunlight penetrates into the circulatory system and stimulates nitrous oxide to dilate the vessels and increase circulation, sulphate cholesterol and sulphate vitamin D. Although a toxic light environment to the eye causes the first steps in a cascade leading to diabetes, the light environment also effect the skin so its a double whammy insult to the system.

The fixes are simple and cheap (compared to medical bills and drugs). However many people would not be prepared to implement them. The reasons why they work not are not so simple - leading down a rabbit hole into quantum electrodynamics, epigenetics and evolutionary biology.

The PE takeaway from this is

1. Get your junk out in the sun

2. Do not carry your cellphone in your pocket.

You know guys, the Mayo Clinic website is an excellent resource for information.

The causes of erectile dysfunction in men with diabetes are complex and involve impairments in nerve, blood vessel, and muscle function.

To get an erection, men need healthy blood vessels, nerves, male hormones, and a desire to be sexually stimulated. Diabetes can damage the blood vessels and nerves that control erection. Therefore, even if you have normal amounts of male hormones and you have the desire to have sex, you still may not be able to achieve a firm erection.
