Since I heard that it is better to start only with length exercises for the first year. Would it be a good idea to start using an extender (ADS) (for length) for the first year and then start doing PE exercises (length and girth) after a year (no more using the extender)? And then after a year of exercises start doing pumping (and quit the PE exercises)?

I strongly suggest you listen to Springer240 and start off with the newbie routine before considering anything else. It is for your safety.

But what do you guys do. Only jelqing, stretching, kegels and length exercises the first year? The extender is mainly a kind of length exercise isn’t it? I heard that it was better to start with only length exercises, isn’t it? And why is it not good to start with an extender?

Condition the penis with the newbie routine first, then use gizmo’s and gadgets.

Extender is a advanced exercise, stretching and jelqing are basic ones.

The period is not one year, it is three months. It’s a good investment if you are not looking for a injury.

Welcome. In my opinion, the most beneficial use of your time will be that which you spend reading EVERYTHING you can on this site.
